Since kindergarten, best friends, Clementine Reynolds and Jasper McKay have never spent more than a week apart from each other. Now they're both sixteen years old and Clementines mother is being relocated due to work. It was a struggle to leave her best friend but she managed, but for Jasper, it was hard to let go of the love of his life. They've both stayed in touch throughout the years but all of a sudden they stopped. Clementine never told Jasper of her sickness, how could she? She has now passed away and Jasper never told her the truth. He arrives at her funeral only to be overwhelmed with all his feelings for her, but how does he manage? He did something that no one would do.
