Class was boring. You could barely concentrate either way, because your friends were extremely worried about your condition. Law even made you tell him your whole schedule so that he could walk you to every class. He says it was to make sure you didn't worsen your condition more. You even had some classes together and he switched seats to he could be next to you.

"Traffy, I'm fine. There's no reason keep baby monitor me."

He just gives you the dead eye as he knows that not the case. The moment your free, you'd throw your crutches off a cliff and run like no tomorrow.

You just didn't like feeling cooped up. And being in crutches was too much cramped space as it was. Not to mention going up and down the stairs was hell.

"That's too bad. I'm staying put." He replied nonchalantly. Scribbling whatever the teacher was saying onto his note pad. Right now you both were in Mr. Brook's class. He was just going on about how to dissect an eyeball, as we would have to do so without his help tomorrow. Which means, you should probably study and listen to him, or you wouldn't be able to do your work tomorrow. But, you did remember him saying it was gonna be a partner assignment, so you would just partner with someone who had the notes.

You couldn't help but imagine Law staring you down from the corner of your eye, but every time you turned to face him, he was focused on what was in front of him. It happened four or five times before you finally caught him. Except he wasn't looking at you. He was glaring just to the side of you. He continued glaring until he made eye contact with you. His sudden change in demeanor suggested he was caught off guard and he continued to scribble words into his notebook in tension.

You looked to your other side and noticed a glaring Sabo. They must of had a staring contest without you. The moment Sabo flashed your way, he gave you a bright smile and asked," How is your day going Y/N? It seems your injury was worse than I expected, I'm sorry I couldn't assist you." He spoke calmly with a smooth tone. Almost as if you hadn't caught him glaring just seconds before. He leaned his chin on his propped up hand, and he scooted closer to you. Most likely to show you he was listening. His face was distorted into concern and guilt. He felt bad that he wasn't able to help his dear friend; his smile curving downwards.

"There's no need to worry. I'm sorry for keeping it a secret." You tried to erase  his sad expression. "Thank you for worrying about me, but I'll be fine. It doesn't hurt as bad anymore. " You hoped you words were enough to soothe the poor boy, and to your liking, it did. He immediately straightened up and he glowed with a radiated warmth. His signature smile tugged on his lips. He let out a sigh of relief.

" I'm so glad." He smiled before changing his attitude completely. He reminded you of a scolding mother. " But if something like this ever happens again, I should be the first one to know about it. You should know better than to keeps things, as extreme as this, a secret. You're just lucky a lecture is all I'm giving you. Just wait til I tell Ace about what you did, or Luffy. How heartbroken he'd be...." He just rambled on and on about what your consequences on not telling them anything would be.

You couldn't help but to feel another pair of eyes on you though. Like someone was burning a hole through your head. You turned around and saw that girl again. She had short, strawberry, blonde hair and a pink shirt on. She obviously hated your guts because she kept glaring your way. You were gonna stick your tongue at her when Sabo bursted your bubble.

"Y/n. You should look at me when I'm talking to you!" He was slightly annoyed that you may have not heard what he was saying. His hands were on his hip. He puffed up his chest to try and convince you he was really mad. Although his cute demeanor suggested otherwise.

"Sorry. Sorry." You waved your hand in front of you," I was listening don't worry. It won't happen again. I promise." You mocked his efforts with a huge grin on your face. He just sighed and told you to get back to work. His cheeks were puffed out and his face was dusted red. "Aww. Don't pout. I really am sorry." You poked his cheek with your index finger, giggling at how cute he reacted.

"I'm not pouting!" he spoke but his blushing face told a different story.

........

It was finally P.E. and Law convinced you to hand the note to the coaches. Coach Doflamingo was upset and forced several innocent kids to their death march. Coach Shanks was really understanding though as he told you to take it easy and sit out. Everyone noticed your crutches and came shuffling up to you; wanting to know what happened.

You let out a big sigh before telling them what was wrong. "Okay, so truth be told. I have a confession to make." They all stared at you with big eyes, waiting for you to further develop your story. "I may have hurt my ankle yesterday, and tried to keep it a secret from you all." You looked to the side, not wanting to see their faces. Sabo nodded approvingly in the background.

"You what!?" An angry voice sounded from the crowd. Oh boy. Ace emerged from the crowd and man was he upset. "You've got some explaning to do." He breathed, fire surrounding his aura. The tense atmosphere was erased though as Luffy came running up to you. He clinged onto your frame with big tears dropping down his eyes. "Y-Y/n.. Are.  You... Hurting?" He spoke in between his cries. All you could manage was to silently pat his back, attempting to soothe the aching child.

"Well are you okay now?" Nami asked, obvious worry etched into her face. Ussop and Zoro looked to you as well, praying that you indeed were okay.

"Y/n-chwaannnn! Are you really okay? Should I make you a bowl of soup?" Sanji shoved Zoro out of the way to see how you were doing. This started an argument between the two.

"Everyone calm down. Because of Traffy's help, I feel better already. Guaranteed." you tackle the various questions spewed from the worried crew. This seemed to relieve them as they all turned to Law to thank him for aiding their friend. Luffy however, jumps off of you and onto Law, tears still evident on his face.

"Thank you for helping my nakama Tra-guy!" Luffy cries into his chest. Law is, however, very uncomfortable with the small boy on him and makes a face that screams he regrets his life decisions. He looks to you for help with the weeping child.

"Luffy. Let's not bother him too much okay hun? He looks like he needs air." You try to comfort the flamboyant boy. It works as he detaches himself from the taller male and goes back to you.

"Hey! Class has started, get over here and don't bother Y/n!" Coach Shanks yells at the crowded group, and everyone reluctantly follows behind. Luffy however wouldn't dare leave your side; crying profusely when Sabo tried to remove him from you. Shanks noticed this and said it was okay for him to sit out with you. Sabo smiled apologetically before joining the rest in dodgeball. You just sat in your chair watching everyone from the sidelines. A sniffling Luffy in your lap.
