Chapter 4

Fan Hui got bored after a while and reached for a remote on the bedside table. She clicked the on button and the TV spurred to life.

The sound instantly filled the room. But before the image could move Fan Hui clicked the next channel button.

Click, click, click.

Until something caught her eye.

It was a live recording broadcast of Q Corporation's CEO. Fan Hui took a brief look at the screen and immediately bolted out the door.

[Why's she in a rush?]

System 101 looked at the screen and all of a sudden it clicked.

[Why is Qing Shang at this hospital?!]

System 101 immediately followed after Fan Hui.

Fan Hui ran to the front of the hospital but unfortunately wasn't fast enough.

'Damn, too late.'

She looked at the scene in front of her with disdain.

Su Han had 'accidentally' bumped into Qing Shang and was now shedding crocodile tears.

'You would think his bodyguards would do their jobs.'

[Says the person who wanted to kill them.]

'Well, I'll just give up on the side mission.' Fan Hui shrugged.

[Host?! What do you mean?! You even told me that it was easy!]

'Nobody wants second-hand goods.' Fan Hui turned around and walked away.

But before she got far, a hand pulled back her arm.

"Where do you think you're going?" Qing Shang asked domineeringly.

"Somewhere where you're not." Fan Hui said by habit.

"I'm afraid I can't allow that." Qing Shang pulled Fan Hui into his arms and looked at her with fierce loving eyes.

"Do I know you?" Fan Hui raised an eyebrow.

"Judging by how fast you ran to greet me, I would say that you know me very well." Qing Shang cupped Fan Hui's chin in one hand while wrapping his other hand around her waist.

"I only know what boogle knows about you." Fan Hui smiled.

"Even if you don't know me, you'll have plenty of time to learn." Qing Shang winked.

"Good point, so when's the wedding?" Fan Hui asked.

"Whenever you want it." Qing Shang laughed.

"Tomorrow?" Fan Hui said seriously.

"Fine with me." Qing Shang agreed readily.

Fan Hui stood on the tips of her toes and gave a light peck on Qing Shang's lips.

"Thanks future Hubby." Fan Hui smirked.

"Anytime future Wifey." Qing Shang kissed the back of Fan Hui's hand.

[Host... What? I... I don't even know what's going on anymore.]

[Commencing System Update...] System 101 was too overloaded with confusion that it was forced to update.

Qing Shang's numerous paparazzis and bodyguards were just as speechless.

"Did this cold hearted CEO just propose and set up a wedding ceremony in a single minute?!" Everyone's thoughts were jumbled and couldn't seem to process what had just happened.

It wasn't until a flash of a camera went off that everyone seemed to unfreeze.

"CEO Shang! Is it true that you just proposed to a random person in a hospital!?" One reporter asked.

"You have eyes and ears, you really should've used them." Fan Hui said sarcastically.

"She's not a random person, she's Mrs. Qing now." Qing Shang said seriously.

"Who said I was taking your last name?" Fan Hui said sharply.

"But Fan Shang doesn't have that ring to it." Qing Shang pouted.

"I guess Qing Hui sounds okay." Fan Hui compromised.

"Thanks Wifey!" Qing Shang smiled.

The reporters and bodyguards who were forced into becoming a third wheel suddenly had the urge to vomit blood.

The bodyguards couldn't even believe that this was the same guy that moments before had bumped into a woman and didn't even offer any help, instead he had just looked at her in disdain.

"Well, I gotta get going." Fan Hui sighed while slightly pushing Qing Shang away.

"Why so soon?" Qing Shang hurriedly pulled Fan Hui closer.

"I have a fiancé to break up with." Fan Hui lamented.

A cold and murderous aura exuded from Qing Shang, "Who is it? I'll kill him."

"Lei Fang, he cheated on me with an animal." Fan Hui immediately ratted him out.

"Don't worry, he'll suffer." Qing Shang said with a smile.

"Oh, but don't kill him, just break him." Fan Hui almost forgot.

"Anything for my Wifey!" Qing Shang said with a bright grin.

Everyone was currently so wrapped up in the groundbreaking news that they had failed to remember that everything was being filmed on a live broadcast.

Numerous business partners and other corporations were currently looking at their screens in utter disbelief.

Was this really the same person that they knew? A person who destroyed countless people's lives and careers with a wave of his hand was now in the palm of a random woman?

Qing Shang's family were equally as surprised, they suddenly received many urgent calls from friends and relatives telling them to view the live broadcast.

When they switched on their TV they were welcomed to a scene of a sudden proposal by the one and only Qing Shang.

Qing Shang's parent's eyes went wide, previously they had thought that their son would never get married. They had even suspected that he might of had problems in the lower region. It even got to the point where they had started getting male marriage arrangements. They just wanted their son to have a loving wife... and maybe a few grandchildren if possible.

The reason for their behavior was because whenever Qing Shang's parents went to a fortune teller, they would always say that if Qing Shang didn't get a wife he would die early. Thus they had done everything in their power to matchmake Qing Shang with a wife, though it had always ended in failure.

Who knew that it only took a single minute and the right girl for him to get a wife?
