[AAAAHHHHH! YOU FORGOT ABOUT THE BABY IN YOUR STOMACH!] System 101 screeched.
"Why do you always yell?" Fan Hui rubbed her temples.
[You forgot your baby!] System 101 whined slightly quieter.
"Calm down, I only borrowed the body temporarily, the original soul will take over the body once I transfer to another body. The baby will be fine." Fan Hui sighed.
[But the baby will never know his true parents!] System 101 cried melodramatically.
"You need to stop watching those dramas." Fan Hui sighed.
[Never!] System 101 covered it's precious CDs.
"...Anyway, what world are we in now." Fan Hui changed the topic.
[Oh right! I'll transfer the memories now!] System 101 remembered.
Fan Hui sighed as a splitting headache and a flood of memories filled her head.
"...You're kidding me." Fan Hui internally facepalmed.
[What's wrong?] System 101 asked.
"This is a robot world."
[What's so bad about robots?]
"Nothing, except for the fact that I'm a robot."
[Oh, right.]
Fan Hui had transferred to a world of robots. In this world, robots look exactly like humans, probably due to the fact that humans designed them.
But humans are an endangered species in this world due to their short lifespans and susceptibility to illnesses. Eventually robots just took over, but not without a price.
Robots were purely fueled by candy, more specifically sugar. But robots can't directly consume sugar, so they dilute it by turning it into candy.
Without candy, robots can't function. When their life system reaches zero, they essentially die. Even if you shoved a piece of candy down their throat, they still wouldn't function again.
Currently Fan Hui was on the brink of death. Which meant that she was currently blind and lying on the floor unable to move or speak.
'Well sh*t.'
[Your life system is at 2% energy, it's recommended that the host consumes a piece of candy soon.] System 101 advised.
'No sh*t Sherlock.'
[...]
'System, you might wanna prepare another world to transfer to soon.' Fan Hui warned.
[You're giving up already?] System 101 asked.
[Actually hold that thought, another robot is approaching!]
"Uhm, a-are you a-alright?" A quiet voice whispered.
'Does it look like I'm fine?' Fan Hui snapped internally.
"Um, do you need c-candy?" The voice asked a little louder.
'...Just kill me already.' Fan Hui quit.
[EHH?!] System 101 was shocked.
"H-here." The robot slipped a tiny piece of candy past her lips.
Fan Hui could taste a faint sweetness before it was absorbed as energy.
[Host's life system is at 5%.]
'That little?' Fan Hui questioned.
[Well it was only a little bit of candy.]
'Stingy.' Fan Hui whispered.
[I don't decide the rules.]
'That's good, then I don't have to worry about an idiotic system running the world.'
[T-T] System 101 cried.
"H-hello?" The robot slipped another piece of candy past her lips.
[Life system is at 10%, ability to see unlocked.]
Her eyes fluttered open, but all she saw was dirt.
'Gee, I love how the first thing I see is dirt.' Fan Hui said sarcastically.
[...I can't control that.]
'A-are you d-dead?' The robot put another piece of candy in her mouth.
[Life system is at 15%]
The robot reached into it's bag once more and put another piece of candy on her lips.
"Hey! Leo! I told you to stop wasting your candy on dead robots! They aren't going to magically resurrect, silly!" Another robot called out.
"But I d-don't think that she's dead, I can f-feel that she's still a-alive, A-Amy." Leo said quietly.
"Geez! What am I going to do with you? Fine, I guess that you can try, but only two more pieces, got it?" Amy lectured.
"G-got it." Leo smiled.
'Wow... English names huh? I wonder what my name would be in English?' Fan Hui thought.
[...Really? After that whole conversation, that's all you paid attention to?]
'Yeah, pretty much.'
[...]
So Fan Hui ate two more pieces.
[Life system is at 25%, movement and speech unlocked.]
'Actually now that I think about it, lying in the dirt isn't too bad, It's nice and cool and the sun is cozy and warm. Perfect place to take a nap.' Fan Hui felt enlightened.
[...Host, are you really just going to nap in every single single world you go to?] System 101 couldn't believe it's shameless host.
'Absolutely.' Fan Hui said without hesitation.
[Help! My host is too shameless and only wants to sleep!] System 101 pleaded.
"A-are you r-really dead?" Leo asked.
"Oi, shut up, I'm trying to sleep here." Fan Hui said drowsily.
"E-eh?" Leo was stunned.
"Qing Shang, quit following me, you yandere." Fan Hui sleep talked.
"Oh? Busted already? I even changed my name though?" Leo sighed.
"Fine, I'll kiss you, but then leave me." Fan Hui sighed in her sleep.
"No can do, but I'll take the kiss for free." Leo laughed.
Unexpectedly, Fan Hui reached her arms around Leo's neck and kissed Leo, but then slumped over in his arms like a sack of potatoes.
"Good kiss, but I'd prefer you to be conscious next time." Leo easily lifted Fan Hui up and put her on his bed.
"Oh, I almost forgot, eat this." Leo put a tiny candy shaped pill in Fan Hui's mouth.
[Life system is at 100%, memories have been wiped.]

[Do robots even need sleep?] System 101 asked the author.
"I dunno, but I think Fan Hui would find any excuse to sleep, whether she's a human or not." The author shrugged.
"True." Fan Hui readily agreed.
[Oi! You're not supposed to agree!] System 101 lectured.
"But it's the truth?" Fan Hui said as if it were obvious.
[...]
"..."
The author and system remained speechless.
