Chapter 23
Fan Hui took off the headset and was once again blinded by the overly pink surroundings. She decided to look in the mirror, just to see what the damage would be.
The sight was shocking, bright pink hair in a fancy updo, pink frilly dress, pink makeup and pink nail polish.
Fan Hui almost coughed up blood. She immediately undid her hair reached into her spatial storage to pull out a black t-shirt and sweatpants. She also pulled out a hair growth pill and scissors as well as acetone, cotton balls and makeup remover wipes.
Thus began her quick transformation.
Once she was satisfied she decided to head downstairs to hopefully cleanse her eyes of the color pink.
Thankfully, the rest of the house seemed normal.
She wandered downstairs where she found a prim and proper couple eating dinner.
She remembered that they were her parents in this world and they would be extremely shocked to see this sudden transformation.
But Fan Hui honestly didn't care.
She casually pulled up a chair and began to eat the food.
'This isn't good...' Fan Hui set her fork down and wiped at her mouth.
"H-Hui are you alright honey?" Her mom asked her.
"Hm? Oh, yeah, I changed up my look. What's wrong? Does it look bad?" Fan Hui asked.
"Nothing of the sort darling, we just wondered what happened to all of the pink things you had." Her father explained.
"Dad! Come on! That was just a faze! Don't worry about it! I'll try harder in my studies unlike before and I'll stop with the pink thing." Fan Hui laughed.
"...Honey, we're proud of whatever you do. You don't have to force yourself to change." Her mom held Fan Hui's hands in her palms.
"Mom, Dad, I'm serious. I really changed, I realized how much of a child I was until now, I'm sorry you had to deal with me all this time and thank you for raising me." Fan Hui bowed respectfully.
"Honey, please raise your head. We love you no matter what, but I'm glad you're finally over your pink phase, now we can go shopping for different colors, just me and you." Her mom hugged her.
"Hey, what about dad?" Her dad said slightly offended.
Fan Hui and her mom laughed together.
Ding dong! The doorbell rang.
"Oh! That must be our boss! Darling if you want to you can go upstairs and change while me and your mom chat with our boss." Her dad said slightly worried.
"Sure dad, I'll go change." Fan Hui said before heading up the stairs.
She entered the room and quickly changed into a random black dress she had her spatial storage.
She peeked out of her room and saw a surprisingly young man talking with her parents.
"That's their boss?" Fan Hui scoffed.
Suddenly, as if sensing Fan Hui's gaze, the young man turned around and looked at her.
Instead of retreating, Fan Hui just continued staring.
The young man smirked and gave a wink before turning back around and resuming talking with Fan Hui's parents.
'That's definitely Qing Shang.' Fan Hui rolled her eyes.
