gather your best words,
let your rhymes assemble.
furnish your language
with the best metaphors
the world of words has to offer,
for i am here to show you a universe
and you might fall short of
words to explain it.
come, let's start with my eyes
which can hold galaxies and black holes
and slowly go down to my smile
where lie the stardust and the comets.
my hands might remind you of
the vastness of the cosmos,
large enough to carry
kindness and strength in its expanse.
my scars are like planets,
each singing a story of its struggle
as it fought to make itself into a solar system,
to find something to call home.
and you'll tour about my anatomy
and yet find it hard to find my heart.
but what you don't know is
my heart's the sun, the stars,
my heart's the infinity and romance
the physicists talk of.
my heart's the power which created
the universe and which cradles it in its arms.
and it might take you another infinity
to find where the cosmos
actually starts from.
it might take another infinity
to find where my heart lies.
