Do not cry as I bid you a goodbye,
For I am a traveller on feet for too long
And it is my time to unfurl my wings and fly.

Do not cry as I am never leaving.
I will now look at you from across the sky.
You can wave at me on a cloudless morning,
Look for my fragments among scattered stars.

Do not cry for it's winter in my soul,
My limbs are tired and my soul needs to slumber.
It'll not be late when flowers become whole,
When everything learns to breathe once more.

Do not cry for as I leave this body,
Leave something which never was mine;
And stay like the breeze in summer evenings,
Like the pillow holding your tears when nothing's fine.

Now, smile as I leave this body.
We can never be apart, not anymore
For my home will now be your heart
And I'm not leaving anytime now.

How terrible was it to love you, something that death could touch? But, today I know that I can let you go and still love you... I can still love you.
