I wake up in an unfamiliar room. It takes me a minute to adjust to my surroundings but when I do, I realise I'm in a hospital.
I look up and see Noah with his head in his hands.
"Noah?" I whisper.
He looks up and sees the that I'm awake. Immediately, he runs over and kisses me.
I have to push him away though.
"Elle... Are we okay? Is this because I caused the accident?" He whispers softly.
"Noah... You didn't cause it. Like you said, it was an accident. We're fine"
"Why did you push me away then?"
"Because, I don't know if I can do this right now"
"Elle..."
"Noah Flynn, I love you so much but we can't be together right now. I have to focus on getting better. Maybe when I'm out of the hospital"
"Elle I can't wait. I've already been waiting for five months to kiss you again"
"I'm sorry Noah... Wait five months!"
He nods slowly.
"Noah... can we still be friends until I can be in a relationship again?"
"Yeah. Elle I can't live without you. If that means we have to just be friends, I guess that we'll make it work"
"Thank you" I say, looking into his beautiful, brown eyes.
