Chapter 11 ~ The 1st Month

Darren's POV

Sky and I were at the mall when a random girl came up to us and asked us to sing a song.

"Ok. What song do you want to sing?" I asked.

"Um, maybe we could sing a duet? One of our originals?" She suggests.

"Sure. How bout Oath?" (A/N: originally by Cher Lloyd and Becky G)

"Okay."

"[Skylar] Yo, my best friend, best friend til the very end

Cuz best friends, best friends don't have to pretend.

You need a hand, and I'm right there right beside you

[Darren] Remember the time time times sneaking out the house

All of the time time times that yoy had your doubts

Everyone clapped and cheered for us but we had to go even though they wanted us to sing some more.

"Darren, lets go to McDonalds!!!"

"Fine."

We walked into McDonalds and ordered all our food.

"Darren? Is that really you?"

Uh. Who are you?

"You don't remember me?"

Not really.

"I'm Caitlyn. From the Phlippines? We were best friends up until the point where you left."

Oh ya. I remember now.

"Plus we are long distance dating."

"Hey uh, sorry to interupt but Darren, I think you have some explaining to do," Skylar said.

"I am not dating her. That was before I was reunited with you," I explained

"Well then I'm just going to leave you two alone." She walked away and sat at another table, playing on her phone.

I texted her

D: ur the worst GF ever.

S: Look who's talking
     You're the worst BF ever

D: Wht do u mean?

S: Go home and check your journal.

I looked to where she was supposed to be sitting and saw that she was gone.

"Sorry Caitlyn, I have to go but text me whenever."

I ran out the door and took a bus home.

I went up to my room and looked for my journal. I wonder what's in there that would make her hate me.

Finally after a while, I found it on top of my music book.

I read the whole thing and realized it was something I did with my friends a long time back.

It was a truth or dare game where Charlie dared me to go out with Skylar Jerome and then later, he dared me to break up with her 4 months later.

I flipped to the last page and saw a note to me from Skylar

"Darren Espanto, I wish I never met you and I wish I never saw you again! Oh ya and BTW I'm moving to Kingston. So now my wish comes true. I never have to see you again. By the time you get this, I'm probably on my way to Kingston. Wish you luck with your life.
