Chapter 5 - Not a coincidence

We are currently warming up before practicing. It's our style that we played an album for an hour as a warm up before starting to dance. And today, we chose iKON oppa's RETURN album.

We rapped Bobby oppa's part in chorus and it was very chaotic. We sang and danced their songs happily. The album was very great and it was very successful. Our blackpink unnie's had their 1st album also and we are very proud of them. It was daebak and they even visited us after their promotion. They also treated us dinner as a celebration of their success and we were so happy since we missed them so much.

"Yah, stop recording us already. We look so silly. Let's get serious.", haewoon unnie.

"Waaah! I'm so scared! I just can't calm down ever since.", choon hae suddenly exclaimed.

"I feel like each passing days are not real. The feeling is just so.... I can't even describe.", Soo jin unnie.

Everyone is worried and feel the pressure. This is because, finally, we are very near the big day.

"We prepared a lot for this so let's just do our best and make our sajangnim proud of his decision to make us debut.", hae woon unnie cheered.

"Unnie's right. Though it will just be suddenly announced. Let's enjoy each of our days and work hard. We wouldn't know if we will be accepted warmly by the public but let's not lose our goal. We aim to perform and enjoy every moment.", young mi unnie added.

"Kaja! Kaja! Kaja! Yahh!", we cheered with our hands together at the center of our circle formation, "Hwaiting!".

We started practicing our choreo.

It was January 2018 when sajangnim announced to us that he is planning on our debut this year. He told us his plan of having our sunbaes release a comeback first and then will be followed by us. We were so happy that we all cried together. Since then, we started preparing for our comeback. We started learning choreographies of our songs and the feeling was so overwhelming. We were so nervous when we had our 1st recording with YG producers at YG main building. We were just so amazed, feeling like seeing celebrities. After our recording, we saw Winner and iKON oppa's and they cheered for us. It was the moment where i thought that this is really it, we are really near to our debut.

"I am touched that sajangnim gave us days to have a vacation, you know.", soo jin unnie.

"He's really thoughtful. He wants us to relax first before having busy schedules", haewon unnie.

"I'm so excited for tomorrow! Waaahhh!", choon hae.

"Me toooo!", young mi.

"It will be fantastic. What do you plan on wearing?", hae woon unnie.

"Let's wear yukata!", choon hae.

"No way!", hae woon unnie.

"Wah! Good idea. Let's wear it!", I cheered.

We decided to attend the most awaited event in Japan, the most famous firework festival to be held in Nagaoka . I never missed going to Japan during summer because of this event and this year, we decided to all go together to create memories. We were shocked that sajangnim let us have our vacation but we will not let go of this opportunity. Because after this, we will be busier and will have a lot of sleepless nights as we were informed of our incoming schedules.
