It's opening night and I am absolutely buzzing. Nothing beats performing outdoors and having the time of your life.
"Luke to stage in 5 minutes" I heard Kerrie say through my ear piece.
I got my band and crew together and opened a bottle of champagne 🍾
"Here's to the first show of the year, have as much fun as you can guys and thank you very much for your continued hard work and support. Cheers"
We all raised our red solo cups and congratulated everyone. I gave Caroline a quick kiss and told her to have fun and I ran toward the stage.
I always like to start the show down here with a real fast moving song so I'm kicking off with Country Girl.

I'm really moving and having an awesome time and that when I look down and see Harper shaking it like a good old country girl. I really need to get to know her a little better before I never see her again.
2 hours later and I'm wrapping it up. The lights go down and I run to the side of the stage. I'm looking for Caroline but she ain't nowhere to be seen.
"Hey Kerrie, where's Carol" I asked
"She had a headache so she said to tell you she was having an early night and that your Mama has the boys" she said
"Oh ok." I said actually a little disappointed that she couldn't wait till I got off stage to go back to the villa.
Oh well I'm not gonna stop this night right here.
