Chapter 33

I followed her outside
"Where are you going. You can't drive your drunk" I shouted
"What do you care Luke" she slurred
"Caroline just because we are getting a divorce doesn't mean I don't care about what happens to you I'm not that much of a bastard" I said trying to calm her down
"I'm going to my sisters. I meant what I said I ain't staying here anymore. The boys are your responsibility now. I'm done" she shouted
"I go on tour in less than two weeks who is going to look after them." I said
"You should have thought of that before you stuck your dick in someone else. I'm calling a cab" she said walking to ward the road end
"Fine be like that. I'm calling my lawyer in the morning I'm going for full custody. I will take them on the road with me when I can and I will have mama come stay here for when I can't" I shouted at her as she continued to walk away
I saw Tate on the porch
"Where's mama going" he asked
"Your aunts, don't worry baby I will take care of you and your brother and Til." I said lifting him up
"Daddy I love you" he said hugging me
"I love you to baby boy"
I went back inside and I saw the cab collect Caroline at the main gate through the security camera. She has got to see that this is the right thing to do.
I picked up my cell and dialled Mama, here goes nothing.
Twenty minutes later and a complete ear bashing Mama finally calmed down and agreed to come and live in the guest house until I got things sorted. She will be here in the morning
"Boys meemaw is going to come live with us for a while."
"Yeah meemaw" Tate said
I looked at my watch it was dinner time. I decided to order pizza for dinner something easy.
As I finished ordering I saw Til at the door
"Uncle Luke"
"Yes buddy"
"You ok. I mean are you happy"
"I am now" I said
"Me to actually. I didn't want to say anything to you but a few times when you where on tour aunt Caroline would have parties and she would get really drunk and I saw her with that tennis instructor, they where u know, doing it. She didn't see me in fact she didn't know I was home" he said kinda sad
"Oh Til I'm so sorry you had to see that. I promise you won't have to see anything like that again." I said
"Is she hot" he blushed
"Who"
"The woman Aunt Caroline called a home wrecker" he said
"Yes she is. I will have you guys meet her once everything calms down" I said smiling
"I'd like that and Uncle Luke thank you for everything you have down for me" he said turning to walk out. I followed him and gave him the tightest hug
"You know as far as I'm concerned your one of my sons and I will always love you" I said
"I know" he said returning the hug.
"Now go get your brothers and tell then pizza is on the way. I'm gonna call Harper real quick"

I dialled her up and she answered right away
"That was quick did it even ring" I laughed
"Ha ha I have been waiting on you calling. How did it go" she asked
"The boys took it surprisingly well, Til totally understands he is at that age. It was Caroline who kicked off. She was drunk by the time I got home"
"Oh no. Those poor boys. I can't wait to meet them" she said
"Soon baby. Well Caroline has left she don't want the house or the boys luckily mama is willing to move in to help until you do" I said then I realised what I said
"I mean not right away you ain't even met the boys, god now I sound like I need you for there childcare"
"Luke calm down, I know you didn't mean that. Baby steps remember. You ain't even divorced" she laughed
"I know but just for the record when I am I want you here"
"Oh don't worry I will" she laughed
"Well I need to go pizza is here then I will take them
For ice cream. Love you"
"To the moon and back" she replied which made me smile
