Around a Month or Two Later...

The hospital was a regular thing now.

I would visit Liu 2-3 times a week.

Apparently he was recovering, but there was no sure way to tell.

...

I would walk home from school. The days were long and hard.

No less bullies.

No more friends.

Just me.

The bus is a war zone where no one sits with me.

Thats why I walk now. Sure it takes 30 minutes, but its better than a bus.

Charlie had taken up before and after school classes, so I only really saw her at home.

I never went to sit with her at recess and lunch either, for two reasons.

1. Her friends all hate me and only see me as the reject.

2. I don't want to drag her down from popularity.

...

I sat in me room, reading.

"y/n, can I come in?" It was my mum

I get up and open the door.

I smile as I let her in.

"Hunny" Her voice was calm, I could tell something was wrong

'What's wrong?' I ask

"Well, I got a call from the hospital" She put her arm around my shoulder "and they told me that, uh Liu woke from his coma"

My face lit up with joy.

Soon, Liu could come back to school.

We could hang out again.

"But" My mum's face looked upset "I was also informed that-"

She took a deep breath and I got myself ready for the worst.

"When he woke up, He...Killed...a nurse" She looked down.

The words replayed in my head.

"Killed...a nurse"

"Liu"

"Liu, Killed, a nurse?"

Time stood still. I felt like I couldn't breath.

Liu, is a murderer.

I felt light headed and dizzy.

My mum must've caught on and wrapped her arms around me an pulled me into a tight embrace.

Tears filled my eyes and streamed down my face.

She rubbed my back and tried to calm me down.

I sobbed into her shoulder.

Liu wouldn't kill anyone.

He's such a nice person.

He would never.

Would he?
