Now let me get this straight, they weren't actually childhood best friends. To anyone that didn't know them personally they had probably been friends for more than 15 years. When they met during their trainee days they immediately clicked. It didn't take the long for both of them to become friends
There is one thing they definitely have in common, avoiding Donghyuck. It's not that they had anything against the teenager, it's just he could be really annoying at times.
"HELLO," Donghyuck screamed as he ran around the room
Ten and Hyeri immediately looked at eachother and face palmed
"Well, bye bye," Hyeri waved goodbye to everyone. As soon as she did that she grabbed Ten's hands and ran out of the room
"We still have to deal with him everyday," She laughed
As much as it seemed like they didn't love Donghyuck in the bottom of their hearts they did it's just that he could get a little too much sometimes.

Lucas and Hyeri's personalities are too similar, they both are really loud the only difference is that Hyeri is able to control her loudness (?). These two are always fighting about the smallest things and end up annoying everyone in the dorms.
They were both meant to be together (not in a romantic way). Without Lucas Hyeri wouldn't have anybody to bicker with and without Hyeri Lucas wouldn't have anyone to annoy on the daily basis. They complete eachother even if its in the weirdest ways.
"Lucas you're all the way over here," Hyeri placed her hand high in the air demonstrating Lucas how loud he was being with an imaginary scale
"You should lower it tktktk down here," her hand that was before placed over her head was now up to her stomach
"Why should I?" Lucas smirked
"Cause we're annoying everyone," Hyeri waved her hand around the practice room
"But I mean that's our job, without us their lives would be boring plus we need someone to annoy together," Lucas fired back
"Never mind your right in the count of three we'll sart running laps around the room ok,"
"1..2...3," Hyeri shouted as Lucas and Her started running around the room
"Ugh not again!" Taeyong exclamied
"This is the third time, how do they have so much energy," He sunk himself into the couch he had been lying on for the past thirty minutes too tired to even tell them to stop.

As much as Hyeri wants to deny it, she has a small crush on Jaemin but no one knows as Hyeri likes keeping her feelings to herself. Jaemin is always there to rescue her after she has fallen down, just like her prince in shining armor. You will always see them together wether its them just lying in bed watching movies or having a late night stroll around the park.
When it was decided that Jaemin would stop promotions with NCT Dream and instead would take a break because of his back injury Hyeri was heart broken, she wouldn't see her best friend every day like she was used to, but she made sure to visit the hospital as much as she could while he was recovering. She knew it was for the best.
"Jaemin please get better, we all miss having you around the dorm," she told him quietly while she held both of his hands tightly, trying her best to not wake him up
Tears were welling up but she knew she had to be strong for him, that's what he deserved
"I will Hyeri, don't worry," Jaemin responded with a groggy voice slowly opening his eyes
Hyeri looked up right away to see that Jaemin had just woken up
"I l..love you," her voice cracked, Hyeri would always say that to him everytime she visited the hospital
"I love you too," he responded as he slowly drifted back to sleep
He had no idea how much those four words meant to her
