"We are now starting the 60m Woman Relay race," the mcs announced over the loud speaker

I was currently stretching, preparing my body for the race

All week I had been training and exercising which was something new for me as my only exercise was dance.

I was pretty intimidated as there were really fast runners like yu ju from Gfriend, she had won many consecutive years and had even set a new record at ISAC

Everyone would think she was unbeatable and I had planned to prove them wrong

Today I am determined to not only win but set a new record of under 9.00 seconds.

"Look Hyeri I know how competitive you can get but remember you dont have to win at everything, sometimes you just have to have some fun," Johnny patted my shoulder

"Yeah and I'll have fun once I win, well try to, hopefully," I responded while tying my hair up in a ponytail

I was nervous, beyond nervous...

It was my first time participating in the isacs and having a ton of idols I look up to stare at me running made the butterflies in my stomach go wilder, if it was even possible.

Hyeri walked to the starting line, waving back at Yuta and Johnny, who didn't have high expectations as Hyeri was not really someone who liked to workout

Little did they know that she was actually a very athletic girl

"Get ready...set....go," the gun shot was heard throughout the gym

Hyeri ran as fast as her feet could hold up

Her hair flowing through the air making it a frizzy mess

All idols screaming anticipating which girl would come first,

was it Yuju or Hyeri? It was a really tight race between the two girls

But something clicked and Hyeri ran even faster than before

This action made all the idols shocked

How can a 17 year old run this fast, they thought

In a matter of few seconds Hyeri's body collided with the cushioned wall

She looked to the screen, out of breath

While inhaling through her nose she noticed that her name was first place

Johnny and Yuta came running, embracing her into the tightest hug, happy that finally one of their members placed first

"And in first place is Hyeri from nct 127 with a new record of 8.32 seconds," The words went through the speakers making Hyeri jump excitedly

"Wow Hyeri I didn't know you could run that fast," Joy from red velvet patted her shoulders proud of the younger

"Yeah, I was part of the track team at my old school," she smiled

"Sorry that we doubted you, Hyeri," Johnny frowned

"I mean in your free time the only thing you do is sleep or eat I didn't think you were so athletic," Yuta defended himself

Hyeri shrugged, "I mean if you had the choose whether to eat and sleep or exercise which one would you pick?"

The answer was obvious

Yuta stayed quite

"Thats what I thought," She smirked at him

"They are all going to be so proud of you, Hyeri" Johnny hugged her

"Yeah because at least I won a medal unlike some people cough cough," Hyeri fake coughed while slighly touching Yuta and Johnny with her shoulder

"That was uncalled for," they both answered

The rest of the day they spent it having fun and watching other idols participate in the different athletic categories

It was certainly a day Hyeri would never forget
