HARRY STYLES GETS HANDSY WITH MALE MODEL IN QUIRKY EDITORIAL

Harry Styles and model/dancer Adrian Ingham redefine what it means to be a man in New World Magazine's latest contemporary shoot.

Throughout the Spring edition (released March 1) the pair were photographed individually, Styles clothed in flamboyant and colourful formal wear, and Ingham in an array of skirts, dresses and women's lingerie. The feature section further contains six collaborative images of Ingham and Styles together.

Wig? Harry Styles fashions long locks for the first time since his debut album.

In multiple photographs, 21 year old Ingham and newly 24 year old Styles are posed on a bedspread, gripping onto one another.
New World labels this issue as a diverse expression of gender, femininity and masculinity. In the interview portion, Adrian Ingham states he was 'ecstatic to be allowed the opportunity to collaborate with Harry and create something that could help young boys and girls.' Styles continues with: 'I think it's important that people see visual representation of non-conforming stereotypes.'

Comfy! This intimate image from the editorial was first released earlier today by Harry Styles via Instagram.

Both men state they aimed to be able to use their influence to do their part in changing the way boys and girls are raised, and that simply seeing a 'young guy wearing a dress' could go as far as to save lives.

Up and coming: rumour has it Ingham has caught the attention of some hot-shot designers.

Sexuality? The cover page is a sensual and intimate image of Ingham resting his head on Styles' bare chest, whilst looking darkly into the camera. Styles is pictured resting his chin on top of the model's hair.
The nature of the shot has been labeled 'confusing' by fans, who appear to be focusing more on the relationship between the men, than what they represent.
Harry Styles' sexuality has long been in question, from waving rainbow flags to openly stating he's finds gender unimportant in a relationship. Given Ingham has been openly bisexual since he first joined the media scene as a teenager, fans are wondering if Styles' participation in the editorial is a declaration of sexual identity, rather than a defiance of gender roles.
