Tasha wasn't sure how to feel about Gavin taking her to the wedding. It wasn't just two partners going to a wedding — it was a date. The idea made her heart flutter as she pulled her dress on, her hair and makeup already done.

Tasha glanced down at her phone, smiling when she saw a text from Gavin.

Hey Shorty.

Hey loser.

I'll be there in ten.

😘

Tasha sent Gavin a kiss face emoji before looking at herself in the mirror, hoping to God she looked good.

Ten minutes went by slow as Tasha paced her house. This is crazy! Before she could get too overwhelmed, there was a knock on her front door. Well fuck me up!

Tasha took a deep breath before opening the door, smiling when she saw Gavin standing there. She had never seen him in a suit, but he looked very good in it. He actually shaved, too!

"You look really good, Gavin." Tasha complimented with a smile as she locked her house.

Gavin cheeks flushed at her praise, a smirk coming to his lips. "Shouldn't I be the one telling you that?"

"You took to long." Tasha teased, sticking her tongue out at him as she got into the car.

Gavin took a moment to regain his composure. She looks so perfect... holy shit! When he got into the car, he smiled. "You look amazing by the way."

When they arrived at the venue, Tasha pulled on her fancy heels and while they were gorgeous, she made sure to bring her flats for the after party.

Tasha groaned as she tried to walk in her heels. "How the fuck do women wear heels every damn day?!"

Gavin chuckled, grabbing onto her waist as her balance wavered slightly. "Aren't you graceful."

Tasha glared up at him, but before she could make a comeback Chris walked into the room.

"Of course you two haven't been here five minutes and you're already at each other's throats."

Tasha smiled, "You look great, dude! How's our groom feeling on his big day?"

"Excited." Chris admitted, "Nervous as fuck, to be honest."

Tasha giggled, "Well, you got this far! You're like the nicest guy on the planet, I'm sure you two will be happy."

While Gavin and Chris talked about guy stuff, Tasha walked over to the guest registry. She smiled as she wrote her name down.

Tasha Price

Tasha shivered as she felt a warm hand touch hers, grabbing the pen out of her hand. Gavin's left hand hovered above her waist as he wrote his name down next to hers, the idea that maybe one day she would have his name made shivers go down his spine.

Gavin Reed

"C'mon, lovebirds. I have a woman to marry."
