Chapter Fourteen

"Joe! Stop!" Demi squealed as Joe continued tickling her.

"Tell me!" He said as Demi gave up.

"You're the hottest creature in the universe!" Demi screamed as Joe chuckled letting her go. "You're mean." Demi pouted and hit Joe's arm.

"But you like me." Joe smiled.

"No I don't." Demi said grinning.

"You don't?" Joe said dropping his smile.

"Nope, I love you." Demi said as Joe smiled and kissed her. Demi giggled and kissed back. "You're supposed to say I love you too."

"I love you too." Joe said kissing her again.

"You're kidding right?! PDA much." Nick said walking by the living room where Joe and Demi were.

"You really know how to ruin a moment." Joe mumbled while Demi giggled and ruffled his hair before standing up.

"Hey, Nick." She said hugging him.

"Hey. Okay, so I have bad news." He said and sat down across Joe. Demi returned to her seat next to him.

"What's up?" Joe asked putting his arm around Demi.

"Anna took a picture of you guys kissing at the after party."

"We know, so?" Joe said as Demi leaned on his shoulder.

"It's leaked." Nick said as Joe and Demi sat up with their eyes widened. "The good thing is that they can't see your faces and they believe it's photoshopped."

"How did it get in the internet at the first place?" Demi asked.

"I don't know. Anna won't do something like that and I don't believe the other girls would've done that either." Nick said. Joe shook his head and sighed.

"So tell everyone that it's not true, it's that simple." Joe said, but Nick shook his head.

"There's more to that though, the girl who posted it was a fan and she said that she was at the after party." Nick continued, showing them the tweet.

Demi sighed shutting her eyes. "I guess we have to tell them." She said.

Joe hugged her and kissed her forehead. "We don't have to, we need to."

"It's annoying how you can't ever keep a secret from the tabloids." Demi pulled away from the hug but kept her arms around his waist.

"I know, but that's how it works Dems." Joe said kissing her softly on the lips totally forgetting that Nick was there. He pulled away and hugged her again.

"You guys, it's not a big deal." Nick said putting his phone on the coffee table.

"Don't you remember that I lied to my fans and that Joe is still technically dating Taylor. A lot of people were already having suspicions about the fact that she wasn't at the premiere yesterday." Demi said.

Nick shook his head in disappointment. "I'm sorry guys, but that's not my problem. You should have told everyone sooner and that you broke up with her, Joe. I can't help you." Nick stated grabbing his phone and walking upstairs back to his bedroom.

Demi sighed. "Great, now I'm gonna get death threats and your fanbase will probably hate me that you cheated on Taylor." Demi said as a tear dropped out of her eye.

"Sshhh...they're not gonna do that." Joe hugged her and swayed her gently.

"How do you know that? They sent bad mails to Taylor and she didn't even do anything." Demi separated from the hug and Joe cupped her face wiping away the tears that had fallen out.

"I won't let them. First, I need to clear things up about Taylor and I, then you claim that Jemi is official." Joe said as Demi smiled at their couple name.

"Fine, but only for you." She said pecking his lips as he chuckled.
