Chapter Fifteen

Joe smiled slightly and noticed that Selena texted him which was the picture of him and Demi nside the limo. He sighed and walked in the diner seeing Taylor in one of the booths. "What's wrong with you?" He asked rudely.

"Uhm...nothing, I guess." She said confused.

"You knew that I didn't have contact with the internet in a long time, why didn't tell your fans that we were over?" He asked a little mad.

"I wanted to actually get back with you, because I noticed I made a big mistake." Taylor said getting up from her seat.

"No. You hurt me, Taylor. Stop. I don't want you back in my life." Joe said as Taylor advanced towards him for a hug, but he stopped her by holding her wrists.

She looked up at him smiling. "I know you still have feelings for me Joe." Taylor said.

"No I don't. I'm with Demi now, Taylor." Joe said letting her go.

"Don't use that excuse with me. Everyone knows the picture was a manip, Joe. Demi hates you, she wouldn't even touch you for that matter."

"I am with her Taylor." He took his phone out and showed the picture of them in the limo from the New York permiere. "That picture might've looked photoshopped, but it's not, because it's true." Taylor was shocked, but tried to hide her feelings as she nodded. Joe sighed and hugged her noticing the sadness in her eyes, "I know we can't be that close anymore, but please accept it Taylor. I've moved on." He sighed and let go walking out of the diner. He tweeted on his phone, "Hey guys. Long time no tweet." After a minute he's had about thirty retweets and favorites making him laugh. "Just to get things cleared out, I have not been cheating on Taylor. :)" He typed once again and added a smile at the end so he wouldn't look too serious. After about a hundred mentions he decided to tweet another one. "I've been with Demi for the past two months and Taylor and I have ended long before that." Joe smiled now sighing of relief ad walked to his car.

Demi clutched her stomach preventing the butterflies from hapening. She was getting ready to go on The Ellen Show in ten minutes and Joe promised to be here. She smiled when she noticed Joe run in backstage. "You're here." She said hugging him as Ellen Degeneres started the introductory.

"Yeah, I'm sorry if I'm late." He whispered. Demi smiled and gave him a quick peck on the lips then focused on Ellen.

"One of the young, worldwide sensations from our generation. She has starred in different movies including Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam which premiered a few days ago at New York City. With her succesful new album Here We Go Again, please welcome Demi Lovato!" Ellen said as Demi sighed and put on a smile. She walked out and waved as the audience stood up and roared.

"Hi!" She greeted Ellen and hugged her before sitting down.

"You look beautiful!" Ellen said sitting down.

"Thank you so much." Demi smiled.

"Okay, so your album Here We Go Again, how was it like working on that?" Ellen asked starting the interview.

"It was great. I worked with awesome people in it and I'm very glad that I was able to finally release it after a year of producing." Demi said as the cover art of the album appeared on the big screen.

"That's great. How about Camp Rock? How was that project for you?"

"I had a lot of fun filming the second movie since there are some new people in the cast. Don't forget my old friends the Jonas Brothers." The crowd cheered at the sound of Joe's band as Demi giggled.

"Yeah, speaking of Jonas Brothers," Demi smiled widely growing even more nervous knowing what questiong was up next. "This picture was actually all over the internet yesterday." Ellen showed the picture of her and Joe in the after party at the premiere. "To clear this up, is it real?"

Demi started laughing, a little nervous. The audience laughed with her, not because of the situation, but because of her actual laugh. "You know what..." Demi calmed down a little and saw Joe smiling backstage. "It is real." The crowd jumped off their seats as the whole building exploded with screams.

"It is?!" Ellen asked a little surprised as Demi nodded. "Well, what do you know. Jemi is real." Ellen said as Demi smiled at the sound of their name.

The whole interview went smoothly and Demi was glad that she didn't bring up Taylor. Demi drank water and ran to Joe in his arms. "You did great!" He said spinning her around. Ellen rolled the credits and thanked some people until the taping ended.

"Thanks!' She said getting out of his grasp.

Ellen proceeded backstage and smiled at the couple. "Congrats guys. You're adorable." She said.

"Thank you." Joe said politely. A camera man came over and asked all three of them for a picture.

"So we should be going now." Demi said after the picture and smiled at Ellen.

"Okay, well it was nce having you here Demi and you too Joe." Demi nodded and hugged her once more beore heading to Joe's car.
