THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V.

Hindi mapakali sk Keji habang buhat-buhat si Gary patungo sa ER. Kaagad naman siyang sinalubong ng mga nurse at doctor.

"Oh my god Gary!" Sigaw ng isang babaeng doctor. Sa pagkakatanda ni Keji ay ito si Doctor Heather. Kaagad nitong inasikaso si Gary.

"Sir, sorry po pero hanggang dito na lang kayo." Pigil sa kaniya ng nurse. Pero hindi niya binitawan ang kamay ni Gary.

"No! I won't let him go. He needs me!" At dahil na rin sa takot ng mga nurse dahil alam nilang makapangyarihan ito ay hindi na nila ito pinigilan. Wala naman ang pokus ng doctor sa kaniya dahil na kay Gary ang atensiyon nito. Kasalukuyan niyang ginugunting ang polo na suot ni Gary.

"Gary hold on. Fuck. Bakit mo ba kasi sinalo?" Pagalit na bulong ni Keji. He don't know what to feel. He's confused about Gary's last words. He's mad...to those people who are behind this happening and to his self. Palagi na lang napapahamak si Gary nang dahil sa kaniya. Palagi na lang kapakanan niya ang iniisip nito. Iyong taong ayaw niyang bigyan ng pansin ay kayang isugal ang sariling buhay para lamang sa kaligtasan nito. Keji is very mad and sad right now. Whatever he feels for Gary and what Gary feels for him will remain on that stage. He knows they can't. He knows both of them are man and once in his life, he became a homophobic. He isn't a bisexual. Or a gay. He shouldn't be.

"What the hell..." Rinig niyang sabi ng doctor nang magunting nito ang t-shirt ni Gary. Napabitaw si Keji sa kamay ni Gary.

"Oh no... This isn't happening..." His heart beats so fast na tanging iyon na lamang ang naririnig niya. Napalunok siya. He is sweating and trembling.

"Gary..." Bulong niya bago siya pilit na pinaalis ng mga nurse. Kita niya ang gulat sa mukha ng doctor. Gary is wearing a supporter to hide those bumps in front of her.

"Gary... Gary is a girl... Jesus. Gary is a she..." Paulit-ulit na bulong ni Keji habang umaatras. Hindi niya namalayang napasandal na pala siya sa pader. He can feel the tears dropping from his eyes. "Damn it! How can I let a girl protect me? All this time..." Parang baliw na kausap nito sa sarili.

"Where is she?!" Naagaw ang atensiyon niya sa taong sumigaw at sa tanong nito. Noah. Kinuwelyihan siya nito.

"Where is she?! What have you done this time?!" Galit na sabi ni Noah. Noah is a guy who is not use to show his emotions. He grew up being a strong guy and weak isn't belong in his vocabulary.

"Alam mo." That's a statement. Keji is now emotionless. He's tired and drained. Nabitawan siya ni Noah.

"You know that Gary is a girl." Nanghihinang bulong nito. Hindi umiimik si Noah. Gary, being a girl is like a taboo subject. No one must talk about it. Noah caught off guard. But what confuses him is how does Keji know about this matter? Naagaw ng atensiyon nito ang dalawang nurse ang pumasok sa ER, holding a styro box na sa tingin nito ay may lamang packs of blood. Dahil doon ay nasilip niya ang nasa loob. And his question answered. Gary is lying on the bed, he just saw her bare shoulders. By that, his madness rose up to his head. He blame his self for not having the chance to protect Gary. He's on a serious meeting about the case of the newly found syndicate group. Sir Garry, on the other hand is on Russia doing some investigation. They trusted Gary and her men for her protection. Pero sadyang magaling ang dalawnag grupo para patumbahin si Keji. They didn't expect that Gary will have a meeting with Keji because on the first place, Gary is the one who insisted it.

Tulala lang si Keji sa labas ng operating room habang si Noah nama'y nakasilip lamang sa pintuan ng silid. Pareho silang tahimik at walang nagsasalita.

Naagaw ang atensiyon ng dalawa nang lumabas ang doctor. Lumapit si Keji.

"How is he-- ah how is she?" Ulit ni Keji.

"Her condition is now stable. Ililipat na siya sa room, expect na hindi pa siya magigising hanggang bukas. Just see her on her room na lang. I have to go now."

Umalis si Noah dahil may aayusin ito tungkol sa trahedyang nangyari. Tahimik lang namang pinagmamasdan ni Keji ang natutulog na Gary. Ngayon niya lamang binigyang pansin ang detalye ng mukha nito. She has a heart shaped face. Her eyebrows are perfectly curved. Her long and thick eyelashes that slightly curled. Her pointed nose and that lips... He remembered. Gary lied. He knew that the kiss wasn't a dream at all. It's true. He maybe drunk that night, but still, he's half awake.

"Oh Gary... My poor Gary..." Bulong ni Keji. He can't help but to cry. He fell so hard. He can feel his connection to Gary's heart.
"I didn't know you're a lady. Noon, hiling ko lang na sana babae ka na lang... para ayos lang na ikaw ang piliin ko. Para makalaya na ako sa pagkipkip ng damdamin ko para sa'yo. Why didn't you tell me? Maiintindihan ko naman ang kwento mo because you became unexpectedly special to me, Gary. I can't take it. Thinking that you sacrificed your life just to save me breaks my heart Gary. Baby... I'm a man. I should be the one catching bullets for you. I should be the one who's protecting you. Please... This time, hayaan mo naman na ako ang magligtas sa'yo..." Keji sobbed while kissing Gary's hand.

"Baby... I promised na matitigil ang gulong ito. Magiging maayos din ang lahat. Just take a rest,okay? I'm sure Noah will protect you..." Napahinto siya. Jealousy consumed him pero pilit niyang nilalabanan. "Aalamin ko ang lahat. Ako na lang ang tutuloy sa mga plano mo para hindi ka na mapahamak. Gary I can't take it if you die, oh God no please..." He cried all his frustrations, madness and hatred toward his self. "If only I am brave like you. If only I am sure of myself. Sana hindi nangyari ito. Patawarin mo ako Gary..." Tinitigan niya si Gary. Wala sa sariling napangiti siya.

"My Gary is a lady. I'm glad." Ilang oras pa niyang binantayan ito hanggang sa dumating na si Noah. Hindi niya ito binigyan ng pinansin. Hinaplos niya ang mukha ni Gary.

"I'm sorry kung hindi mo ako makikita paggising mo. May mga aasikasuhin lang ako. Tandaan mo ha, mahal na mahal kita. Aalis na muna ako Gary. You'll be safer this time, I promised." Keji stand and pressed his lips on Gary's without minding Noah on his back. After that, he went out of the room.
