Chapter 8

•Ashton's pov•

I woke up to find a small redhead wrapped around my stomach. Smiling to myself and gently shook her to wake her before Lauren came in and caught us.

"Sidney... Sidney.... RED." She woke up and groggily ripped the covers from my body and huddled at the other end of the couch. Oh no she didn't.

I got up and stood in front of her. In one swift motion I bent down and picked up the little ball that was at the end of the couch. She didn't even flinch, she just let me carry her to the kitchen. I sat her down in a chair and proceeded to make breakfast. Cheesy scrambled Eggs with salsa and bacon were her favorite, so that's what I made. They weren't nearly as good as when she made them but I knew she would be pleased.

"Good morning beautiful." I said I as sat the plate down before her. She smiled and dug right in. We sat in silence until we both had finished.

"Ashhhhh." she softly whined.

"Yeeeeeesss?" she motioned for me to come closer. I went over to her and she wrapped the blanket around my shoulders then wrapped her arms around my waist. I see what's she doing. I took the blanket and wrapped it around both of us. We stood there like that for a long time, just enjoying each other.

That was the moment when I realized how deeply in love I was with this girl.

She looked up at me after awhile. "let's go to the beach." she smiled, " and this time we are building sandcastles."

"Ok go get your suit on and I'll get the building supplies. I'll be at your house in 15 minutes." I said.

She ran to get her shoes and then was out the door.

•Sidney's pov•

As I was running to my house to get ready a thought crossed my mind. A plan ruining, beautiful day crushing idea. What if Lauren found out? I stopped dead in my tracks and headed back to Ash.

I ran inside and crashed into his room. "What if Lauren finds out?" He was butt naked and I didn't even realize.

"Shit sidney learn how to knock God." he said quickly wrapping the nearest article of clothing around him. I burst out in laughter, I couldn't help it. The terrified look on his face oh my god AHAHAHAHAHA.

"I'm sorry." I said with tears in my eyes.

"It's not funny! Get out she won't find out bye." I went back to my house, still laughing and changed into my bikini. I put on my waterproof mascara and put my hair up. I just hoped Ash was right about Lauren.

When we got to the beach, Ash once again managed to find a secluded spot where no one could be found.

He got out and went to the trunk to pull out a small duffle bag. Yes time to show off my skills, I thought.

We settled our self a good distance from shore but not too far away. We talked about random things as we built it. Ash and I both decided it should be huge with a bright pink flag at the top. It took us about a solid hour to get it perfect, but when it was finally ready it took my breath away.

The best part about the castle was that Ash and I had built it together. It was slightly symbolical because it was like us building a relationship or some corny shit. We laid on our bellies for awhile, just admiring it.

"Hey did you bring the surfboards?" I asked, the thought suddenly popping into my head.

"How did I know you were going to say that?" he said sarcastically as he got up to go back to the car. I beamed in delight when he pulled out my bright pink baby out of the car and started to walk back.
