(Third Person)

Jessica sit's in her New York apartment, alone. As she thinks about Thor, it's been a few days since he had left. She just couldn't get him off her mind, it was just weird, she never felt this way about a man before. Well, he wasn't a man, he was a God. Maybe that's why she couldn't stop thinking about him. She twirls a pen in her hand as a notepad was in front of her, scribbles of words and rhymes, so tried to create, but nothing seemed to make sense to her.

"Ugh, why can't I stop thinking about him," she spoke softly as she stared at the notepad in front of her, pen still in her hand tapping away. She started to wonder if a spell would make her better, maybe she could make a spell to see him. But she couldn't, it wouldn't be right if she did make one to see him. She huffs in defeat, before throwing the pen and pad onto the table in front of her.

S.H.I.E.L.D had offered her a job with them to help out with the Avengers, she took the job with glee. This would make bonds with each of the Avengers and she was happy about that. They also kept her secret about being a Witch as she didn't want everyone within SHIELD to know about it, only the ones who really needed to know.

Jessica wandered her apartment, just thinking about her life after the battle of New York, suddenly there was a knock on her door. She wondered over, thinking it could be Thor, but that was a wild chance. Jess swiftly opens the door, to see Steve standing tall and his broad shoulders just there.

"Steve?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Miss Halliwell," he greeted with a warm smile, and a nod of his head. He's such a formal person with everyone he meets.

"Please call me Jessica," she smiled back at him, before she stepped aside to let him in, her hand holding out a bit to gesture to enter her home, and so he did. "What do you need?" She asked as she closed the door, as Steve stood in her living room.

"I needed a word with you, as I didn't get a chance the other day," he spoke gently and looked like he really needed to get what he had off his chest. Jess stood there and waited for him to speak his mind; she slightly knew where this was going. "What you did for Tony was brave, very brave..." she couldn't help but to blush and smile at his comment. "And though Tony might not say it, but you are a selfless, wonderful woman and I'm--we are glad that you are part of the team," Steve changed his words, as he felt something that he hasn't felt since Peggy. Jessica smiles at his comment, and before Steve knew it, her hands flung around his neck and her head buried also.

"Thank you, so much Steve. It means a lot from you," she states, her heart overwhelmed with his comment, and she was lucky to have him, as did the other Avengers. Steve couldn't help but widen his smile as far he could. They stood in her apartment just hugging one another, it was like time had stopped, and it was just them together in the world, that's how Steve felt. Jessica was just happy that she could make a friend in her new life in New York, and she felt like it wasn't going to end here.

Though Jessica's density was just starting, she had a long way until the end. She knew why she wanted to leave the Sister's behind, she knew why she wanted to move to New York. It was because she was needed here; to help the Avengers out, to help save innocents from a mad God. Though love wasn't out of the question, maybe one day Thor would come back, and she'll fall for the God of Thunder, or maybe she will fall for the one and only Captain America.

Only time would tell...
