It had been three weeks since the snap and the world was recovering. Everyone grieved for those who had been lost. Two weeks ago Tony and Nebula had arrived in the Guardians ship faced with the remaining Avengers and Rocket who tiredly positioned themselves to fight- their stances dropped when a very injured and distraught Tony Stark walked out with Nebula following. Tony had been sent to the medical wing immediately without giving him time to protest. The remaining Avengers had to fill Tony in of the Earthly events, he was devestated to say the least. Now three weeks on Tony finally managed to go online- he saw something that made a stray tear slip from his eye.

The tag #bringthemhome was trending on Twitter, featured on Instagram and was even being covered on the news. This wasn't going anywhere for a long time. All of these innocent people who were just living an ordinary life had either had people cruelly taken from them or had been lost. The next one he saw really made Tony cry.

Finding out about Peppers death tipped Tony over the edge. He had his kid die in his arms and then Tony was told by FRIDAY about Pepper, he sat and screamed for about half an hour- his voice gave in after that. Tony had promised Pepper that he would no longer drink himself into oblivion about a year ago and it was so damn hard keeping that promise over these past few weeks. But he was determined to do it- not just for her but for everyone's sake.

Tony was the first of the Avengers to post anything, with more following suit. They found it helped with their grief, it made them like everyone else who had lost someone. This also showed the world a more human version of the Avengers.
