(Mitch's P.O.V)

I get up immediately cleaning everything. Straightening it out, laundry, the whole Shabang, I light some candles to make it smell better. I look at the clock, it reads 11:30

"Thank god it's a weekend"

I blow all the candles out and trudge up to my room, collapsing onto my bed. Today was just so big and I was tired. Then my phone rings

(Scott's P.O.V)

I walk out with Kirstie. We chat and I drive home listening to Beyoncé, my queen. I pull into the driveway and walk in. The emptiness of my house feeling regularly familiar. I sit down waiting T.V. I flip on spongebob and watch it. Smiling and thinking of Mitch. I actually have a relationship now. I look over at the clock

"Holy shit! It's 12:30"

I jump up and hop into bed. But for the first time I feel kinda lonely. I look at my phone and call Mitch

"Hello?" A groggy Mitch says

"Just wanted to say goodnight babe" I hear a laugh

"Your cute, you know that?"

"I try my best, you nervous for tomorrow?"

"A little bit, you nervous for Monday?"

"Yup" I chuckle to myself even though I was so worried.

"I'll be right beside you, remember that Scott" I smile

"I won't, love you Mitch"

"Love you too Scott. Night"

"Night" we hang up. I smile rolling over and drifting off into slumber

(Mitch's P.O.V)

I wake up and sit up. Immediately taking in how good my room looked often how trashed it was yesterday. I walk into my bathroom taking a shower. The cold water sending chills against my spine. I get out looking at myself in the mirror. Most of the bruises on my face was gone. But the bruises left by Frank were still fading. I throw on tight black jeans and a tank and walk out. I immediately smell food and smile. I race down to the kitchen and see my mom standing there. She looks over and smiles

"Hi mitchie" I smile and race up to hug her

"Thank you for getting rid of him Mitch" I look up at her

"It was something that needed to be done" she smiles and holds me close

We both sit down and eat. She starts asking some questions because now we could talk freely.

"How's young Kirstin across the street doing?"

"She's been good, got herself a boyfriend a couple days ago."

"Hey! That's good! What about you Mitchie? Still on the market?" I look up at her and smile looking down and blushing, she smacks my arm

"You dog! Give me some detail, who is he?!?" I chuckle

"His name is Scott, he's in my grade and yeah." She smiles

"Is he one of those popular boys?"

I explain the whole story and what happened and what he's doing on Monday and it makes my mother beam. We sit down and watch movies hugging each other now that we didn't have to deal with frank. At 12 there is a knock on the door. I go up and answer it, Kirstie and her parent stand there holding a pot

"We heard someone came home today!" I smile and my mom walks up

"Oh Nancy you look so happy!" Kirstie's mother says smiling

"I am now that I'm home again" she holds me close and Kirstie smiles. "What's in that pot Lily?"

"Lunch." She smiles and they comes in, we all sit down and discuss things and just have a good time in general. For the first time I actually felt like my family was normal. Everything was back to normal. I had my mom back, a boyfriend, everything was falling into place. All there is to get out of the way was Scott's friends..

Scott's friends.
