Edit- To make wizard money more simple, in this AU a galleon is worth approximately $50, a sickle is worth approximately $5 and a Knut is worth approximately 50 cents. Not that wizarding money is used a lot in this story, but I wanted to make that clarification.
Edit:PSA- I wrote this when I was like 13 or 14 before I knew it was going to be a series so I apologize for any typos or continuity errors in advance. I promise if you stick around for the rest of the series the writing quality improves.
Edit: I'm adjusting the timeline to make it make more sense with my greater headcannon. Events in this series will appear out of order and a few details are now adjusted from the original but the story is still generally the same.
