"Oh my- What happened?" Howard said, walking out of a side door. He stared in fear at the demon.
Nobody answered him as Bendy's form wavered and the ink reformed until he was small again. As the last bit of thick ink slipped off, Mickey gasped as Bendy fell to his knees in fear. He clambered back away from the dead animal and stared at me. His eyes sparkled with fear and uncertainty.

Bendy sat by Mickey's side, still in shock. He didn't want to kill anymore. He held a cup of hot chocolate in his hands shakily and sipped slowly from it. Everyone was quiet until Howard spoke up.
"I know were all thinkin' it. What happened?!" Howard said, realizing he raised his voice, but then lowered it again not wanting to scare the demon.
Bendy's eyes flicked to Howard then everyone in the room. He didn't want to speak...
"I-" Howard was cut off.
"It's fine, Bendy, if you don't want to tell us." Bella said, waving her hand dismissively and glaring at Howard.
Bendy was glad Bella didn't want to press. Maybe he would tell then tomorrow, because right now he needed to sleep.
Howard sighed, putting his fingers on his temple. "Right... we can sort this out t'morrow. I'm sure you guys are tired."
Both the demon and mouse sighed in unison, relieved looks on their faces.
"I-I'll show you to your room!" Bella said, jumping up with clasped hands. She looked slightly uncomfortable.
Soon they followed her upstairs.  Bella apologized for her father's behavior, showing them a relatively large guest room with two wide beds.
They thanked her, and she left them to unpack the small bags of luggage.
"Bendy, I'm sorry... I didn't know that would happen. It's my fault I brought you... knowing how they acted." Mickey said, changing into his pajamas.
"It's... Fine Mick. I know you just wanted to help. They might end up helping me out tomorrow. I'm still glad you brought me."
Mickey sighed in relief, pulling on soft shorts and a t-shirt. Bendy pulled off his pants, only leaving his boxers that Mickey gave him, and a large t-shirt. They faced away from each other while changing (even though Bendy wanted to turn around). The mouse flopped down on his bed, the demon sitting down beside him.
Bendy pulled his clawed feet up.
"So... I wanted to ask. Why were you not scared of me?" Bendy said, crossing his arms and leaving against the baseboard.
Mickey hesitated, propping himself up on his elbows. "Well I mean- when I saw you in that abandoned old studio, all I could think was 'poor thing' I didn't even think about my safety. I guess now I'm still not scared of you." Mickey said, glancing at the demon. "Why do you ask anyway? You're my friend, you know that."
Bendy jumped, surprised by his answer. "F-friend?" Bendy said, looking at the mouse in astonishment.
Bendy sat up, wiping his eyes as they started to water with inky tears. He sniveled softly, wiping the tears away and smiling.
"Woah Bendy, you okay? Did I say something wrong?" Mickey interjected, sitting up and looking at the demon in worry.
"No- I've just never been called someone's friend before."
Mickey smiled, putting his arm around the demon's shoulders. He looked down at his socks and blushed a slight light pink. Just then he noticed Bendy was blushing way more; a light gray hue.
"Of course I'd call you my friend. What surprises me is why nobody else would."
   Bendy smiled and looked away.
"I'm not usually this soft..." He said with no more tears flowing down.
Mickey sat there for a second before he got an idea. They were both pretty energetic and couldn't really sleep.
"Hey, you wanna go look at the stars? We can go out on the roof." Mickey said enthusiastically, jumping up as well.
"Stars?" Bendy said getting up. "I've never really taken a good look at em'."
Bendy followed Mickey through the open window onto the roof. They both sat down in front of the window, and they stared up at the sparkling lights in the sky. It was cold, so cold their breath came out in mist, but they ignored it and marveled at the stars.
"Look!" Mickey pointed at a constellation. "The Big Dipper."
Bendy smiled, still blushing. "Yeah. I didn't realize how many stars there are..."
Bendy looked over at Mickey who was still gazing at the sky. "They're really beautiful tonight."

A dark figure paced around a table, another sitting down at it, looking stressed.
"We have to do something. We can't keep letting him interfere with our plans." The first figure sighed. "But we can't kill him, he's too popular."
The other figure got up, walking toward a poster on the wall; a map of the town.
"My Queen, do you have an idea?" The first figure said.
"Yes!" The figure walked into the light that shines on the wall. It was Alice Angel. "We must keep the mouse away from our demon. And once we get him, he'll finally pay for what he did to us." She drew around a spot on the map, and she turned to the other figure who had walked over as well; Sammy.
Although he wore no mask, he was dressed in a white suit, stained with ink.
"My queen, you are a genius." Sammy said. Alice put a hand on his face, reminiscing. It was now obvious from the bandages over her face, that something did happen to it.

The demon.
