The mouse's eyes opened in the morning light, squinting from the sudden brightness coming through the windows. He pulled himself up into a sitting position, yawning and stretching. Mickey got out of bed, looking over at Bendy's sleeping form. He looked so peaceful.
   Suddenly Mickey got an idea.
Mickey smiled and ran over to Bendy's bed, jumping on it and Bendy.
   "Wake up, lazy!" Mickey said.
Bendy was startled awake. He looked at Mickey sitting on his legs, and laughed.
The demon smiled at him, and as he turned away, Mickey saw him blushing.
"You wanna go get breakfast?" Mickey said, scrambling of Bendy's bed.
"Sure. What are they making?" Bendy said. He pulled some pants on, and walked with Mickey downstairs.
"They usually aren't here in the mornings on the weekend. Bella goes to work and Howard does... I don't know honestly." Mickey says with uncertainty as they arrive in the kitchen. "He doesn't tell me or even Bella a lot of things..."
Bendy sits down as the mouse pulls out two bowls, spoons, milk and cereal. He sets it down at the table and they both pour their cereal.
"Well, at least we can have time to relax before they get back. No weird experiments on me or anything..." said the demon, finishing his bowl of cereal.
Mickey agreed and he got up, putting their bowls in the sink.
"Hey, do you wanna go outside and do something?" Mickey suggested, looking out the window at the rising sun. "It's not like we have anything else to do"
   "Alright."
They both went outside, and it was a bit chilly. Their breath came out in small clouds, but as the sun hit their skin it started to feel warmer. Bendy touched a wild flower in the field near the large, old house, making an angry bee fly promptly out and buzz around him. The demon's mouth curled into a small smile, and all the mouse could think was how perfect and white Bendy's teeth were. Seriously, how did they look so good? Pretty smile...
"What..?" Bendy said, looking at the mouse, confused.
"Oh sorry I was just mumbling!" Mickey said; he must've said the last part! He had to make sure he didn't speak his mind accidentally...
The demon looked very slightly flustered, and he went back to looking at the various flowers as they walked to a certain tree. This tree was a large, old oak that was hidden somewhere behind the house. It had worn, Peeling bark, but healthy emerald green leaves. A swinging bench hung off of one of the oak's many thick branches. Shade from the foliage cast on the ground, leaving spots were the leaves parted into sunlight peppered on the shadow.
Bendy smiled again his pretty smile, running his hand along the bark before sitting down. "Wonderful little place... I didn't see it back here before."
Mickey nodded, sitting down close to the demon. Mickey pressed his fingers against the splintering old bench, and he started swinging slowly. "I love days like these, when it's cold but not too cold."
Mickey smiled too, looking at Bendy who was examining a small insect he had found, which flew from his hands swiftly. That sat in silence, enjoying the beauty of nature, and Bendy was silently picking petals off a daisy, in a 'love me, love me not' pattern, evidently getting 'love me' on the last petal. He smiled and a grayish hue spread across his cheeks.
Mickey could figure who he was thinking about.
Then he wondered why Bendy still wanted the mouse, even though he had turned him down. Did the demon really like him that much? Mickey looked over and Bendy scooted closer to him, trying to be discreet. Mickey smiled and placed a hand on the demon's. He almost jumped, but instead turned his head. He didn't think the Mouse would do anything.
Mickey opened his mouth to speak, but before a word could come out he heard a car door shut. They both got down and started walking to the front of the house where Howard or Bella probably were. They both rounded the corner and said hello to Howard who had asked hem to follow him. They went in after him and sat on the couch, taking their shoes off.
Howard walked in clutching a box he had probably brought from his car. "I found some stuff we might be able ta use ta get that power under control, Bendy."
The old yellow dog sat down, examining some of the objects in the box, and lifting one up to show the demon and mouse.
"Here's a pendent, but I doubt it'd work for this kinda purpose..." Howard said, looking through some other stuff. "I think most of the reason why you ain't in much control is somethin' botherin' you mentally. Is there anythin' you're worryin' about?"
Bendy hesitated for a moment, a moment of fear flashing in his eyes. He sighed. "Well ever since I'd made it out of the studio I was trapped in I've been... paranoid and I guess you guys haven't noticed." He said quietly.
"Paranoid? About what?"
The demon looked scared. "I wasn't raised to love because I wasn't loved while I was there. I was tortured, and so were two other toons that were my siblings. One was killed by the other and I was left to be in pain and turn into a monster." He said, his voice breaking for a few seconds. "She's still alive and I did... something terrible to her and I know she wants to send me back to Hell."
Mickey looked over at the demon with sad eyes. He didn't know that he had been so tormented at the studio. He wanted badly to just comfort him.
"Bendy... I'm sure it's fine! Nobody can come after you, that studios been abandoned."
Bendy looked slightly more relaxed, but the mouse could tell he still wasn't telling him something...
