Chapter 15

Most members stand in shock, unable to process the sudden surprise information. Meanwhile, Jungkook stands there in c o n f u s i o n , looking at the members then looking at the tensed Bang PD and decides to break the glacier.

"I.. I'm sorry. What?" Jungkook said. This brought not only attention to most of the members, but questions. They expected a 'Sorry I never told you this.' or something like that, but not this.

"Si Hyuk ssi, I think it's best if you explain," Yoongi says, staring at him dead in the eye.

"Sir, what is he talking about ?" Jungkook asked him, close to having a panic attack.

"Shit" Bang Si Hyuk muttered.

Time skip to about an hour cause I'm an uncreative h o e .

After the long discussions with Bang PD, who left for an emergency, a huge bubble of tension grows bigger and bigger at the table. Everyone at the table sits silently, drinking or eating as the only times they talk is when service comes and goes. Jungkook seems to fidget his hands, looking down and not even eating. Yoongi, on the other hand, tries to find a good time to start a conversation with Jungkook and everyone.

Fuck it.

He takes another sip of his drink before facing Jungkook who is sitting next to him.

"So, Jungkook-ah."

"Y-Yes hyung?" Jungkook says, raising his head to face him as his eyes a little wider from being surprised that someone is actually talking to him.

"Firstly, I want to know, are you okay?"

"I'm fine hyung... I just want to know how my other hyungs are. I don't think they like me, or worse...What if they hate--"

"Look, kid, I think they just need time to process this. In the meantime, try talking with them. Or better, start over. "

"I'll try, but quick question."

"Shoot."

"Why are they uncomfortable with me being a hybrid?"

Yoongi felt and in a way, heard a 'thump' on his heart, he was hoping that Jungkook didn't ask him that. Of course, he didn't know what to say at first as Jungkook kept adding on details to explain further.

"Is it because they have never seen a hybrid before? Is it because Bang PD nim never mentioned this other than you? I mean that would make sense in a way--"

"Long story. Now, go and try to start fresh."

"Ah, okay. But how hyung? Do I start fresh individually, or should I stand up and introduce myself. Cause, if that happens, oh goodness-"

"Stand up and introduce yourself."

"What?!"

"Yeah, how bad could it be?"

"Very. I could potentially make a bad first ish impression and they could all not like me and--"

"Calm down, you'll be fine. Look, kid, if you start getting nervous, just send me a sign or something so I can save you."

"Thank you hyung."

"Mm, good luck," Yoongi says, putting on his famous gummy smile that made Jungkook feel a little better and relieved. He gets up from his chair and moves a little to the right so Yoongi can see him, this sort of brought the members attention.

"I...uhhhhhh." Jungkook loses his words as he starts to look at the members' faces. He collects himself before starting over, this time struggling to face everyone.
