I nod my head to respond.
"Use your words little one."
"Yes, sir, I understand." I say looking down.
"Good girl, now how about we go eat?" Daddy says lifting my chin up...

"Hey! I can't believe we're back in this hell hole, but hey, only this year and next year, and we'll finally graduate!" Candice is not one for school, unlike me. I love school and I dread graduation.
"Yeah, i guess so." I still have what had happened in Mr.Coldwater's class, constantly streaming through my mind. It's been playing over and over again in my head all day.
"Why do you look like you're in deep thought? You know a tense face gives you wrinkles, Right?"
"I just can't stop thinking about what happened this moring with Jason and how strange it was." I say while my mind repeats the event from this morning.
"Girl, i'm telling you, he's bad news. He has serious family drama from what i heard. Hey, are you going to eat that slice of pizza?" Candice reminds me, while stealing my slice of pizza. I gave her a "are you seriously going to eat MY food" look.
