Chapter Two

The Door for the Second Phase opened revealing a girl and a fat man behind her.

"Hello, everyone! My name is Menchi and the man behind me is Buhara. The theme for the Second Phase is cooking!" Menchi exclaimed

Other applicants began to murmur because the Second Phase is cooking.

'I don't care if its cooking. I just want this Hunter Exam to end.'

"You can cook whatever you like, just rember that the main ingredient is pork. There are pigs at the Forest of White Dreams.

We all ran out to find pigs

I found a huge pig, turns out that those pigs were carnivores

'We are so screwed.'

We all dodged their attacks until Gon found the weakness of the pig which was to hit their forehead.

We all went back to cook up our pigs.

A few minutes passed, people are going straight to Menchi. Menchi, who was perfectionist at foods, diqualified them, including Gon and Killua.

I was the last one to give my food to Menchi.

'I hope this works. I tried my best.'

Menchi tasted it and she stood up."This is the best out of all the applicants. The flavourness, softness and the others were perfect. Therefore, you pass." Menchi replied

"This nonsense! I didn't came here to become a Gourmet Hunter, I'm here to become a Blacklist Hunter. We tried our best to cook, and it turns out that this little girl is the only one who passed?! You got to be kidding me?!" One of the applicants shouted and ran towards Menchi.

Before he could even get closer to her, I tripped him over.

"What the heck is wrong with you?! Do you want to have a fight?!" He shouted at me

"Umm no, but hurting people just because they don't pass you? Yes, I will."I replied back

"Why are you protecting her anyways? Is it because she passed you? Think about the others, girl!" He shouted

"I'm not protecting her just because she passed me, its because she's innocent. Menchi is a perfectionist at cooking and other foods, so she knows what's wrong at the food she's eating." I stated.

Before he could even talk again, a man fell from the sky

"Menchi, I heard you failed all applicants except for 100," the man stated to Menchi.

"I'm sorry, Chairman Netero. I kinda lost my temper. I am not fit to be an Examiner. I will resign as an Exmainer. " Menchi apologized

"Also, thank you, young girl, that you tried to protect me, but I'm the one who made a mistake," Menchi apologized to me.

"But it's hard to find an Examiner for such a short time. Here's the deal, You will be the Examiner for the Second Phase, but you also need to participate." Netero asked Menchi

"Hmm, oh Chairman, can you take us to Mount Split-in-Half?" Menchi asked Netero

"Sure," Netero replied.

"Menchi, do I have to participate?" I asked her."If you want to, you already passed the test." Menchi replied

'I should get some sleep.' I thought as I walked away

As I woke up, some applicants have passed the test, includijg Gon and Killua.

They led us to an airship towards the Third Phase.
