The night was cold, and crisp with clouds blocking out the stars. Dally and I's bedroom was warm, our bodies acting as space heaters. I felt toasty, snuggled up into his arm. I lay in the almost silent room, the quiet only interrupted by Dally's repeated breathing. And I was smiling.

I've been awake for a while now. I turn to my handsome boyfriend, and see he was still sound asleep. He looked godly in the bed next to me, he was looking younger than normal. His snoring was soothing, calm and constant. I'm so happy he's with me.

I turn back onto my back, getting comfortable. My skin tingles at the thought of Dally, it starts in my fingers and spreads through my body. I beam at his picture in my mind, us together having fun and fooling around. He grabbed my waist and picks me up slightly as I giggle uncontrollably. I love when he makes me do that.

I hear the rain start to pour onto the roof, the pitter-patter filling my ears. I hadn't noticed until now. It didn't matter though, I'm dry and warm in Dally's strong arms.

The feelings he makes me feel are kind of hard to explain. More old memories pop into my brain. The one of us on our first date, getting ice cream and talking about the most stupid things. Another one of us just sitting together, enjoying each other's presence. Then the one where we first moved into the house; I felt the pressure of his hands on my waist as we pressed our lips together in celebration. My smile is wild, spreading like a blaze across my skin.

I move again, accidently waking up Dally. He moans.

"Sorry for waking you up Dal," I softly apologize, "go back to sleep."

I fall asleep, feeling the pleasantness of a peck on my nose and his firm forearm along my waist.
