"Oh Jamie~" you sing playfully. "Where or where could he be?" You walk a circle around the dining room table and hear a fit of giggles from underneath it. "Hm... well he's not in the kitchen..." another fit of giggles could be heard. "Maybe I should check somewhere else... how aboooout... HERE!" Your five year old son squeals in delight before darting from beneath the table on all fours. "Get back here you little monster!" You yell teasingly.

"No!" He laughs running into the living room, he quickly dashed behind your husband who was currently fixing the coffee table. "Daddy! Daddy! She's trying to get me!" He shouts. Bucky stands, a smile spread on his stubbled face.

"Don't worry, Kiddo! I'll protect you!" He says, placing his human arm on him in a protective way.

"Oh, you think Daddy will protect you?" You smirk. "Well I just so happen to know his one weakness, Jamie!"

"Oh yeah. And what's that?" Bucky smiles, you walk closer to him and he places a hand on your waist. Jamie covers his eyes as you lean in and peck Barnes on the lips. "Oh no! She's got me!" Bucky proceeds to crumble to the ground slowly. "Jamie! Save yourself!" Your child squeals again and runs from you. You catch up to him, grabbing him by the underarms and twirling him in the air before setting him on the couch.

"Mommy wins!" You say, tickling his sides. He laughs like crazy as he squirms in place. His brunette hair gathering static and sticking to the couch. "Alright kiddo! Since mommy won, you know what that means! Bath time!"

"But I don't want a bath!" He protests.

"No buts, little piggy." Bucky chimes in. "You don't want to end up smelling like grandma's house, do you?" Jamie's nose crinkles in disgust.

"No!"

"Then it's bath time."

"Okay, Daddy." You pick him up and start towards the bathroom.

"Really, Mr. Barnes?" He follows after you.

"What? Your mother's house smells like mothballs and cheap perfume! You can't tell me it's a good smell?"

"I never said it was," you start the bath as Jamie grabs his toys, throwing them in and watching them float with the current. "But that's my mother and she your mother in law, treat her with some respect."

"But you agree it smells bad there?" You roll your eyes.

"Go fix that table."

"So you agree?"

"Table, James!"

"Alright alright." He goes to leave the room and you smack his butt before he can step out the doorway.

"That's what you get for talking smack about my mom's place." Bucky laughs and shakes his head.

Several minutes later you come out with a clean Jamie, running around with a towel tied to his neck like a cape, dressed in his favorite Captain America onesies. (Of course Steve bought them for him.) The phone begins to ring and you head over to it. "Keep an eye on him, won't you, Hon?"

"Daddy! Daddy! Look!" Jamie shouts, jumping up and down on the couch.

"Be careful, Bud. Don't jump too high."

"I want to fly like uncle Tony!"

"Alright." Bucky chuckles.

"Hey, Colson- what's up?" You say into the phone, smiling as you watch Bucky pick up your son and hold him up high.

"Hey, Yn. We need you to come in." Your smile falls.

"What? I thought you guys said I can work from home! Can't someone fill in for me there?"
