Standing outside receiving fresh air is the best thing ever. I felt like I was suffocating in there.

I breathe in the air selfishly

"Hey" Levi comes behind me

"I'm sorry I left you inside" I apologize 

"Nahh it's okay, I felt uncomfortable inside anyways"

"I know right!" I exclaim but then behave

"Hey, be yourself"

"Huh?"

"Be yourself around me. Be comfortable."

"Ohhh okayyy" I laugh awkwardly

"Tell me about yourself" I blurt out

"What do you want to know?" his accent seeps in

"Uh everything"

He laughs

"No way, you gotta ask then I'll tell you" he says smugly and u roll my eyes

"Oh okayyyyyyyy"

"Your name?"

Cassie what a dumb question

"Levi Rosario"

"How old?"

Really??

"27"

"Favorite color?"

"Grey"

"When I was choking you spoke some kinda language what was that?"

"Italian"

"I knew it"

"You're Italian?" I ask

"Yes I am"

"But how? You're Italian but yet you're like among America's richest men.

"My dad and I moved here when I was 16. Leaving my mum and my younger brother to run the family business in Italy"

"Ohhh"

"Yes"

"Hmmm, so both your parents are Italian?" I ask

"Yes"

"That's nice" I smile

"How about you?" he says

"Me?"

"Yes you"

"Before we start I have something to tell you." he says scratching his neck awkwardly

"I might have already researched about you. The day you stood up to me" he says wiping the smile off my face.

"What?" I ask unbelievably

"I'm sorry-"

"I bet you are" I snap

"You don't just go around researching about people. What if they didn't want anyone to know anything about them. Jeez!" I glare at him

I move to walk away when he grabs me

"Don't.Ever.Walk.Away.From.Me" he says his tone different from earlier

"You're hurting me"

I say

"You're hurting me!" I struggle and he let's go

"Oh, I'm so sorry. It's just that you were gonna leave and-"

"It's okay. Can we just leave now?" I ask already tired

"Okay" we walk to the car and I don't let Levi open the door for me. Still a bit mad at him.

I know he's my boss but still that doesn't give him the right.

We drive in silence until I notice he's not taking me home.

"Where are you taking me? My house is the other way." I point out already panicking

"Look Levi I'm so sorry I snapped. Please don't kill me. Im sorry,  I really am"

"shhhh" he says

"I'm not gonna hurt you, Just relax and you'll see" he says and I look into his eyes for reassurance

"Okay" I lean into my seat

Moments later we arrive at Ice cream Land and I look at him confused.

"What are we doing here" I ask

"Well I brought you here to apologize for what happened earlier. So anything you pick in there is on me" he says and I just smile

"Oh"  I smile mischievously

Alright then

 Getting into the shop, my eyes catch something and they go wide at the number of flavors of ice cream in here. 1000 different flavors

"Don't catch a fly in there now" Levi tilts my jaw a little

I take a cart and walk around, putting any flavor that catches my eyes into the cart.

" white chocolate chip strawberry ice cream" I read out. I open it up and have a taste and behold my senses go haywire.

Like damn! This is good.

As I'm eating the ice cream and moaning quietly at the taste Levi comes in front of me and I freeze like a deer caught in headlights

"I can see you're enjoying yourself Miss Fortz" He teases with a smirk and I just nod shyly. He comes close to me and I move back, he does it again and I move back. He comes closer again but this time I don't move back because he's holding my waist.

I look up at him confused at his sudden change of behavior but more confused because I like it and I'm not pushing him away

Get a hold of your self girl!

I chant in my head to keep me strong but fail miserably as I melt into his touch

He brings his hands to my face, caressing my cheek with this look of admiration in his eyes which makes me wonder.

He lowers his head to my lips and my eyes go wide as I start to internally panic

"What are you doing?" I ask but he doesn't reply

He keeps coming closer and...

He licks of the ice cream at the side of my mouth.

When his done he looks down at me holding my chin and I bite my lip

I cough a bit to clear the tense air and Levi moves back.

"I think we should leave now it's late" I say walking in front of him.

We walk to the cashier and Levi pays the bills and immediately we head home

"I hope you had fun today?" Levi opens the door for me

"Yes I did. Thanks" I reply and turn to leave

"Uh wait!"  he looks back at me

"I uh- I I'm Uh sorry for snapping at you" I tell him avoiding his eyes

"I should be the one apologizing. You have the right to snap. I was wrong" he walks up to me making me look at him and my heart starts beating really fast

"Sleep well Miss Fortz" he says before walking to his car and driving off.
