Well after my crying episode, Levi got me some ice cream just to make me feel better. He told me he'll always be here for me. And that I shouldn't hesitate to tell him if anything is wrong. I felt so grateful because it felt good to have someone by my side beside Sam and Louis that is.

The night came to an end and Levi dropped me off. I thanked him and he kissed me, telling me that the kiss means we're officially together and I laughed so hard not forgetting to tell him that I strongly disagree and that he had to ask me properly. He smiled and said I should expect to be wowed.

Well I'll be waiting pretty boy.

"Well someone had fun" Sam beams at me and I roll my eyes

"I told him about my 'situation' " I said to her as I took of my shoes

"well that's a first" she countered and waited for me to go on

"well I feel really comfortable with him. I thought he deserved to know if we're going to be together. I mea-"

"He asked you out already!?" Sam squeals and I shake my head, smiling at her

"Well he did kiss me and said it was official but I told him he had to ask properly" I explained and she gave me a high five

"I didn't raise no whimp" she said and I laughed.

"come on we have work tomorrow" I walked directly to the shower and then to sleep.

I heard my phone beep but I was too lazy to check it out so I just slept

I'll do that tomorrow

Reading Levi's text from last night and I'm like
Can my smile get any wider?

Jeez, I might be falling faster than I thought.

Heading to the bathroom, I do my business, dress up and head out for a jog.

Getting back home I find my phone buzzing on the coffee table in the living room.

20 missed calls and 5 messages from sam

I decide to call her immediately.

"where were you this morning!?" she answers sounding pissed

"I went for a jog while you were dozing off" I reply

"And so you couldn't answer my calls to let me know you're safe?" she retorts

Placing my hand on my forehead I reply "Sam chill, I forgot my phone at home when I left. I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me"

"Hope you ate something before leaving to work?" I ask and she remains silent

For heavens sake

"I thought we talked about this before, you are beautiful the way you are and you don't need to be skinny. I'm sure your boyfriend likes you this way. Heck I do. With your thick ass and all that" I counter and she laughs

"okay, okay sissy, I'm sorry I'll stop. Now get off the phone and come to work. If I didn't know better I'd think you're into girls now" she says

"nahh I'm as straight as a ruler boo, besides I've got Levi" I smirk

"oh so now you admit you like him"

"psshh no. The line is breaking- I can't hear you" And I end the call. Yes there's no way I'm admitting shit to her.

Getting to the mall, I make sure everything is in order before heading to my office.

"Good morning miss fortz" Layla says with a broad smile

"Oh Good morning Layla, I'm sure your night was splendid?" I ask and she nods.

Opening the door I find a huge bouquet of roses sitting on my desk and I walk up to it reading the tag attached

I smile to myself knowing the culprit behind this and as if on cue my phone rings

Levi

" oh hey prince charming" I answer

"Someone's in a good mood." he says

"I assume you've seen my present?"

"oh yeah I have, but don't you think roses are too cliché" I reply, he remains silent and I chuckle

"Try harder lover boy" I say and he groans before hanging up.

I get settled and start my work for today when someone knocks

"Come in"

"Miss fortz we have a problem" Layla says and I frown

"What's that?"

"A customer's child was electrocuted" she replies and I feel the color draining off my face

"How.. Oh my gosh" I stand

"An ambulance has been called, but the mother of the child has insisted on suing credos, the security men have been trying to keep the situation in control"

"shit" I rush downstairs and indeed there's a ruckus.

"I will sue this enterprise for what they've done!" a woman shouts at the top of her voice

"ma'am please listen to me, I'm so sorry about what happened and I promise you credos will take responsibility of everything and the people behind this will be fired I promise you." I beg and try to console the woman

After series of apologies the woman finally left and we kept receiving disapproving looks from the other customers and so I instructed the security men to clear the area and close the mall for an emergency meeting.

Fuming, I call for every single credos worker.

"You know this is highly unacceptable! Those in charge of electricity you all will be dealt with for this nonchalant act. How can you be so careless!"

"Ma'am" someone interrupts me and I turn to look at her

"Someone saw the head of sanitary department and two others messing with some wires before the incident. So I doubt if the electricity department is fully to blame" she says and I fume. Why act so petty.

"Miss fortz, I just got information that the child is okay and not dead. Although he still has to stay in the hospital" Layla says and I sigh with relief

I instruct the security department to make sure they find Mr Gilbert and his accomplices and further investigate to know what exactly happened.

Then I stayed back with the electricity department to make sure every wire was in check and everything was okay.

Levi later showed up quite angry, he promised to make sure Mr Gilbert and his accomplices were punished for their acts. He also went to the hospital to check on the child and compensate the family. And also make sure to clarify the issue.

It was 9:30pm when we were finally done so, the mall was locked up and the workers and I went home.

On my way home I got a call from Levi making sure I was okay.

Nice of him but I still felt bad. I knew Mr Gilbert didn't want me around but he didn't have to do something so horrible to make sure I was removed from my position. I mean I didn't even want it in the first place. What if that child had died?

People can be so petty and inconsiderate sometimes.
