|MAKING ALLIES|

I had been resting on the pillar over looking the first floor as I stood on the balcony in a daze. Everyone seemed to be sleeping as the night was about to end and there was no sound coming from the house, only outside where people were getting ready for their day.

Then I heard the sound of familiar foot steps making me wake up from day dreaming. I move from out of the shadows and speak up curiously. "Where are you going so early this morning?"

"Nowhere of importance love" Niklaus says as he stops turn to look at me as I now stood in front of him. I had stopped him before he would walk down the stairs

"See i know that's a lie because you have the look on your face that says i'm on a mission. So where are you going?" I ask not liking that he was hiding something from me

After a second of looking at me not knowing if he should tell me or not he finally does, "Mikael is back"

"What do you mean he's back" I say not liking this news, I thought he was going out to do something about his mother "I saw him in that ghost world, dead not alive"

"It seems your witch friend brought him back" Niklaus says making me run a hand through my hair worried for Davina and what's to come for her

"Who has the white oak stake?" I question knowing that their father isn't a problem unless he has his hands on the one thing that can kill him and his siblings

"Davina" Niklaus states making me sigh not liking any of the news he just delivered to me. Instead of asking him for how long he has known this, I was going to support his plan. 

"I'm going with you" I tell him knowing that I wasn't going to allow him to leave without me on his suicidal plan

"You are going to stay here love where-"Niklaus says but I cut him off before he can finish

"No! If they have the white oak stake Mikael will do anything to get it from Davina if he sees you. I won't risk losing you.. or Davina"

"This is my fight not yours love" Niklaus says making me shake my head as i wasn't going to change my mind

"That's where your wrong. Ever since you became part of my life your fights has been mine and thats not stopping now"

"Odette this is the one fight I can't let you accompany me into" Niklaus says standing his ground making me stand mine

"I didn't know I needed your permission" I say not letting him leave without me

"I'm sorry love but you're staying here" Niklaus says and I couldn't argue because the next thing I knew I was being injected with something that sent my skin to feel like if it was on fire and for my insides to start to itch. Soon I wasn't able to breath, all I was able to see was those cold blue eyes that showed sorrow as i fell into his arms gasping for air. A tear fell from my eye as I fell unconscious no longer being able to see the glacier blue eyes that I love

I has woken up with a sharp pain in my neck. Yet when everything came back to me I didn't care for the ache in my neck or the reminiscing of my skin burning. All I cared about was Niklaus who left in searching for his father, who was with Davina, who contained the white oak stake. Yet that was interrupted as I made my way down stairs to be met with guests.

The Crescent wolves who are staying in the compound seemed to be making themselves comfortable as they were now gathered in the courtyard. I great some of them as my hand rested on my neck just as Elijah enters the compound shouting "Brother! Niklaus!"

"Gah, you don't have to be so loud!" I say in a more quiet tone than Elijah as I start walking towards him as Hayley does the same walking from kitchen towards the courtyard angry
