Collided Into You

Part 4

The following Monday Ellie was at home getting ready for her appointment she put on a long sleeve fitted shirt and leggings and her boots and put her long blonde hair in a braid. She could feel the baby moving around as she was 22 weeks pregnant and she went out in the kitchen trying to find her keys and her phone when there was a knock on her door. She was expecting anyone that morning and she saw Sebastian through the peephole and she opened the door and said "Sebastian?"

"hey well don't you look adorable." he said with a smile and handed her a coffee and a biscuit.

"You brought me breakfast..where's the baby?' she said 

"Oh I have already dropped her off at the daycare and stopped and got you breakfast." he said 

"Ok well come in and eat yours." she said as she took a sip of her coffee. 

"What were you doing when I knocked?' he said 

"I was looking for my keys and my phone." she said 

"Well here's your keys and your phone  you left them at my place last night." he said 

She bit her lip and said "Oh..I must of left my door unlocked" she said 

They finished up the breakfast he brought them and he said "Ok let's go." 

"Um where are you going?' she said as she put her coat on 

"I'm going with you.." he said 

"You want to go with me to my appointment?" she said 

"Yes I do..I'll go with you anytime you want me to go. When you have your baby shower I'll wait to see what you get before I get you anything. But today I'll go with you to find out if you are having a boy or a girl." he said 

She smiled and said "Thank you." 

He helped her up into his truck and she said "Thank you Sebastian I know you are missing work to do this for me. You didn't have to but I'm glad you did especially since today is my 30th birthday." 

"You are a February baby?" he said

"Yeah.." she said 

"I'm a August baby." he said as he looked over at her as she looked down and he said "Tonight I'll take you out for your birthday." 

"no you don't have to do that Sebastian it's fine..I'm on call anyways." she said 

"No you are not spending your birthday at that damn hospital all night..let me take you out to dinner." he said 

She bit her lip and said "Ok." 

They got to her doctor's appointment and she got checked in and waited for them to call her back and she got back to the room and the doctor came in and Ellie said "This is my friend Sebastian he didn't want me to be alone." 

Dr Johansson smiled and said "I know Sebastian he works with my husband." 

"I didn't know you were her doctor." Sebastian said 

"Yup..she works for Lizzie." Scarlett said as she sat down and started up the ultrasound and "Alright Ellie let's see if she or he will not be stubborn this time." she said 

Ellie lifted up her shirt and Scarlett started to roll the ultrasound all over her stomach and Ellie closed her eyes and whispered "Come on baby please let mama know." Sebastian came over to her and whispered "Sweetheart can I try something." 

She opened her eyes and said "I guess so.." 

He started to run his finger tips up and down her stomach and that got the baby moving and Scarlett remembered that is how he was with Julie when Amelia was being stubborn and wouldn't let them know. "It's a girl Ellie." Scarlett said as she looked up on the screen once Sebastian stopped.
