"Goddess, let's go back!"

Kokujin yelled to Tamie once saw the awoken beast. He wanted to pull her back when the redhead man raised his hand. A large light ray emerged, pushed Kokujin off and attached him to a cave wall.

"Kokujin!"

Tamie got terrified - this beast would surely kill defenceless Kokujin if he wanted to! Then she felt an ominous presence right behind her. She shuddered and turned back, just to face that same redhead man, who had come up to her in an instant and glared down at her with fiery but tired eyes.

"Ah! Get away from me!" Tamie wanted to run off but the man's strong arm clutched her hand. "Ah, no!" she struggled to escape his tight grip, but could not.

"Goddess!" Kokujin got preoccupied - what if that fiend hurt his mistress?! He struggled on his part to get away from the light ray prison, but just like Tamie, he failed.

"No!" Tamie cried out.

"Tamie..." she heard an unearthly, deep, almost demonic voice. She looked up at the ominous dragon-man, whose fiery eyes gazed right into her soul. He raised his red-clawed forefinger to her face. "At last, we meet..."

Tamie closed eyes, tears falling off them. She felt a soft touch on her cheek. She reopened her eyes in a stupor - the young man had wiped off her tears with his clawed fingers. Why did he seem so gentle? What did he want?

"Tamie!" Kokujin still struggled to get free, worried about his mistress who had gotten in such peril.

"Hush!" the dragon-man glared at him. Then he glanced back at Tamie, "You... Why have you deranged my peace?"

"I... I am sorry. I wanted to check on Byakuya".

"Byakuya..." On the tired face of the young man, a vile smile flickered, "The child's fine".

"Oh... Um, very well!" Tamie grinned. Sweat poured off her forehead at the same time. "Sorry for disturbing! We shall go, then!"

She wanted to step aside but the clawed arm clutched her and didn't let her go. More sweat poured off her forehead. She looked back at the young man, whose smile had formed in a grin:

"Where are you going?"

"Um, h... home".

"Stay. You won't have a meeting like this in every lifetime".

The man clutched her tighter and pulled her towards him. Tamie screamed - now he surely wanted to eat her... She had to escape!

"Tamie!" Kokujin fought against the light prison. He glared at Byakuya, who was calmly slumbering in a bed together with Debbie: Damn it! Why all the mess happens in this fool's conscience?!

The dragon-man meanwhile bent down and was about to bite Tamie.

"Ah!"

Tamie felt a warm touch. She gazed at the young man, who had landed a kiss on her forehead.

"Tamie, take this," he placed a strange golden medallion in her hand, "Help the child

"Tamie, take this," he placed a strange golden medallion in her hand, "Help the child... avenge me".

Tamie's view got blurred. All she could hear were Kokujin's faint shrieks, calling her desperately until they too vanished. Blackness fell around, taking her into oblivion... When she woke up in distress, she was already in her own room in her bed and it was a dark night. Kokujin was in her conscience - she hadn't forgotten him.

"So, we somehow survived?"

"Don't ask me. I don't remember a thing".

Kokujin's grumpy voice sounded in her head. Tamie chuckled - she was happy to be back from that gruesome place and have Kokujin by her side. She was so scared she might lose him forever! But then, as she looked at her bedside table, she sprung in shock - there was a golden sun medallion lying, with a skull head depicted on it.
