On the other end, all you could hear was a thud before the phone disconnected. Strange.. he wondered what that was about.
"Zane, where are you?" The voice of the nindroid's father called out to him.
"I am downstairs," Zane answered. When the old man entered the room, wearing a gray and red robe and a tophat, he continued. "Someone by the name of Cole was calling."
"Don't worry, I'm sure they had the wrong number. Anyways, where is breakfast?" He asked.
"I will have it ready soon," Zane promised. "I was just answering the pho-"
"You listen to me! Answer the phone only with MY permission. You do whatever task I give you first, and that's that! I don't want you bringing this up again, do you understand me!?" Zane's father snapped, ushering him back to the kitchen.
"My sincerest apologies. I understand. I shall remember that," The nindroid got back to work. It was peculiar, he couldn't remember anything but today. Yesterday and before that was fuzzy, unclear.
