"Hello, othandekayo," I greet looking up at T'Challa who smiles up at me. I place my hand on his cheek "Marry me," I breath without thinking, though this rash question I knew it was what I wanted. He looked shocked at my question "I know I kept rejecting you but when I saw you get thrown off that cliff I realized that our story wasn't over. That there was so much I wanted to do with you. That I wanted to be with you forever. Have kids one day, be your everything as you are mine. When I saw you get thrown I thought oh gods I'll never-" I didn't get to finish because he had kissed me. I froze for a second before kissing back.

"Let me do this properly," He says getting down onto his knee with the ring box in his hand. I laughed out "Marry me, Ayana, be my everything, my queen," I nodded

"Get up my king," I say teasingly as he slips the ring on my finger kissing me again. "I love you so much," I said leaning my head into his chest as we hugged

"I love you most," He whispers

"Oh gods," I say looking up at him "We have to tell my dad," I say

"Something tells me that, that will be the scariest thing I do this year," He says causing me to giggle.

We stood in the busy streets of Wakanda once more watching the people. "You saved me," T'Challa said I looked to him "You saved my family," I shook my head "My nation,"

"I didn't do all of the work, othandekayo, Nakia did the most," I said shaking my had "And it's our nation," I teased smiling up at him he kisses me and I smiled when he pulled away.

"I also know a way you can still fulfil your calling," I raised a questioning brow but when he explained the idea of setting up refugee acts around the world I smiled at him. I kissed him once more

"Thank you," I whisper to him
