But then something strange happened. Divya opened her eyes and looked at Abhishek's face. She spoke. And what she spoke was not expected by Abhishek.
"I must be falling for you hard, Abhi. I am seeing you in my dreams also," mumbled Divya. Abhishek was shocked would be an understatement. He could not believe his ears and said, "What did you say?"
His voice brought Divya back to the reality. She realized what she had said but did not have the guts to accept it. "What?" she asked. Abhishek looked at her and said, "You said something?" Divya shrugged and said, "I don't know. I might be speaking in sleep." Abhishek looked at her suspiciously. Changing the topic, Divya said, "You did not tell me that you will be back in the morning." "Yeah, I wanted it to be a surprise," relied Abhishek.
Divya's eyes fell upon the gift placed near Diya. She smiled. Getting up, she said, "I will freshen up."
She went to the washroom and Abhishek sat wondering if he had heard it right, if his wife was falling for him. His thoughts were broken by Diya, who had just woken up.
"Daddyyy...," the little girl jumped on her father's lap. Abhishek held her and kissed her forehead lovingly. "I missed you, Daddy," said Diya. Abhishek smiled and said, "I missed you too." He gave her the gift. Diya happily opened it and found a barbie doll. She hugged her father.
Divya re-entered the room and looked at them. She moved towards them and gave Abhishek the notepad, saying, "Your T-shirt. I could not think of something better."
Abhishek looked at the design and chuckled.
Divya picked up Diya and took her to the washroom, leaving Abhishek to wonder again, had he heard right.

Everyone was sitting in the living room and talking. Diya was busy playing with her toys which were lying around.
Swati spoke, "We should get Diya admitted to a school." Abhishek looked at everyone and said, "But she is small." Divya chuckled and said, "She will always be small for you Abhi."
Abhishek pouted but he too knew that his family was right.
