Jay was acting tremendously calm for having just lost an eye, that much could be said. Cole had agreed to stay with him while he recovered, having to be on strong pain medication due to the injury. "You sure you're ok buddy?"
"EYE sure am." Jay giggled, winking- well more like blinking- at the earth ninja. Regret filled Coles face as he realized what exactly he had gotten himself into. Staying with the pun master while they were on medication may not have been a wise choice.
"EYE'm WHOLE heartedly glad you're here Cole."
"Mhm." Cole hummed, looking at Jays giddy smile.
"EYE'm glad we could PATCH things up and be best friends again!" Jay tapped the patch covering what used to be his eye.
