Chapter 13: Friend problems.....again

I tried to go, I tried to move myself, but I JUST couldn't

"What are you doing, you finally figured out we shouldn't tell Kelly?" Liam said with a smirk

Though he looked fine as heck, I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face

He didn't understand, but I need to stop being a cat and man up. I was going to have to confront him sooner or later

That's my problem, instead confronting situations I always run away from them, this time, I won't stand for it.

I took a deep breath

"Let's go"

"Aww"

I rolled my eyes, we entered and Maybelle immediately saw us

"Liam, I've seen you moved on to this one"

I don't like how she said "this one" as if I was one of  his whores or something

"No,no Maybelle, I'm still with Kelly"

And I think I heard him whisper unfortunately

Jeez, he has a problem for picking the wrong women

She scoffed "Well I have someone now, would you like to see him?" She said

"Honestly Maybelle, I don't care, Renae and I need to do something"

She looked hurt, she was trying to make Liam jealous

"I would love to see him" I said

Her face lit up, if only she knew

Liam gaped at me, but I just ignored him

She ran and dragged Adam to us

"Babe, this is my ex, and his friend"

He looked at Liam, up and down

And then brought his gaze to me, I'm not even going to lie, my breath hitched, he was still fine

I brought a scowl to my face, but he didn't even seem surprised, not even mad

He smirked at me, the goofy smirk that used to make my heart melt

Liam and Maybelle kept looking back and forth, knowing we knew each other

"What are you doing here Adam" I said, burning with anger

"To be back with you of course, we were so close"

Then he leaned into my ear

"To take every thing from you babe, again, because you are a coward and you will always run back to your owner because your a dog, your parents don't even wa-"

I slapped him, as hard as I could, I even tried kick and punch him, but someone held at my waist

I knew he was surprised, he didn't expect that from me, I surprised myself actually, but the mention of my parents, all hell broke loose

I trashed and turned, I heard screams

Liam brought me outside the office, and carried me like a baby

I just cried in his chest, arms wrapped around his neck

It felt so warm and good

He brought me to a car, and I don't remember anything, because I fell asleep
