Chapter 43:Almost Perfect

"N-not necessarily..."

I suddenly got angry

"What is his problem, I barely even talk to him, with all due respect for your father is a b*tch"

"I think the exact thing" he said with a smile "But, truly, he just has negative stereotypes about black women"

"Liam....do you think his stereotypes might split us?" I asked worridely

"Never. Why would u ask that?" He kissed me hair

"I don't know....he's like your father and you might listen to him"

He laughed softly "I'm a grown man, I make my own decisions now Renae, and believe me when I say he won't split us"

I hugged him tight and breathed a sigh of relief

1 month later

It's been sometime since my hospital stay, and things could have never been better

Adam was put in jail for quite some time, and even when he will be released years later, he will have a criminal record follow him for the rest of his life

Liam's family would come very often everyone always elated to see me. Though Marcus is SLOWLY starting to understand that his son is in love with me, and needs to give me a chance, he still acts kind of rude to me.

But that's ok, he'll get over his stereotypes one day.

But his family, is like a family to me that Id never had

Besides my mother getting upset, that Liam and I never showed up to the party, she immideatly called after she heard about Adam

His mother completely despises me now, and my mother being her bestfriend, slightly despises me even more than she did

But, I invited all my family to come and meet Liam and his family at his- I mean our house (Liam says to call it that)

My mother and all my siblings surprisingly agreed to come but my "father" says he will think about it, but I'll know he'll come

Today is the day, and as I stand in front of my closet I think I MUST look perfect

Some of the maids had already decorated downstairs, Leah was sleeping, Liam was running late though

Just like majic, I felt two arms wrap around my waist, and a face buries in my neck

"Hey baby" he muffled in my neck

He started kissing my neck slowly, and not gonna lie it felt good

I know Liam want to "seal the deal", and I want to also, but I just have to wait for the perfect moment

These urges are getting way to strong

"...you have to get ready, Liam" I whispered to him

"I just want to be with you all day and kiss you"

I chuckled and blushed, he is so flattering sometimes

I turned around to face him, I gave him a quick kiss

"Now, there is a suit for you in your closet, that's what your wearing, okay?"

He kissed me again " Yeah, ok"

I smiled, I loved bossing him

Checking the time, I noticed it was time to get Leah ready, we were all going to match wearing a little red

I went in her room, and picked up her small figure

"Leah, honey, wake up"

I moved her arms around a little bit

She finally, but slowly opened her eyes and looked at me

"Mommy?" She asked

I didn't know what to say, she never asked that

I just kissed her and decide not to answer that, after taking her a shower, I gave her to one of the maids to put on her clothes while I get ready

After about 30 minutes, I was finally done with my light makeup, my hair was done, and my dress looked elegant

I looked in the mirror, and that was the first time in ALL my life I was happy with what I saw

I walked out to find Liam. He fake fainted when he saw me

I blushed "get up liam".

"Dammmn. Baby."

I knew he couldn't put everything he want to say into complete words

"Come on" I said grabbing his arm "Let's go get Leah"

We went in her room and got her. I felt like a family right then and there, and I loved it

Then the doorbell rang
