Again, the three knocks on the door took Chester out of his daze, and startled, he quickly opened the door, only by a little gap looking at Mike, who had his hair a little wet, probably due to the light rain that had started to pour only a few minutes before.

The half Asian quickly looked at his wrist watch, panting.

"Right in time, here," he handed the paper cup hurriedly to Chester, who swallowed it with no effort and showed his tongue, already handing the money, basically shoving it into Mike's hands, wanting to just get it over with already.

He closed the door and sighed, but his moment of peace was brief because soon he heard Mike calling his name, asking him to listen to him at least.

"Please, Chester. I have something to tell you. It's important. Very important." Mike said, his voice muffled by the wooden door. The way he had said the last sentence had been very serious, which made Chester wonder what was so important that he would stay there for five minutes straight, just begging for the blonde to open the door, so he finally gave in and opened it, startling the deliverer.

"Yes, what is it?"

"Can I come in?" Mike asked.

Chester blinked at the request, it wasn't something Mike had ever asked before, except for that time the tattooed man was sitting on the bathroom floor. The half Asian knew by now that Chester preferred to be left alone, and he couldn't understand why he was suddenly asking something so boldly. Panic suddenly started gripping his heart as he realized that something must be wrong.

What if Mike couldn't deliver anymore? He was getting accustomed to him... he didn't want to go through someone new again, what if they were like Samantha?

Or maybe it was about his meds... Shit, if they decided that he couldn't get them anymore-

"Chester?"

"Oh." The blonde man realized he had been staring at Mike without saying anything. "Yes... sure..."

Chester opened the door wider and gave space for Mike to pass and sit on the couch as Chester signaled him to.

"What is it?" Chester asked, sitting as far as possible from Mike, his body smaller if possible. He was trying to look brave but his voice betrayed him as it trembled, his hand fidgeting nonstop.

Mike had the urge to just hold his hands and assure him that it was okay, he hated to see him nervous, however, he refrained from doing that and took a deep breath before starting to explain. He just hoped that Chester wouldn't have a strong reaction to what he was about to spill out.

"So... as you know, I have others clients and today, I got to my first client's house earlier and... he invited me in... he's a really nice guy." Mike started drifting off. "Anyway... the thing is... I think he knows you. Actually, I'm sure he knows you." Mike closed his eyes expecting some reaction from Chester, but since he didn't hear anything, he decided to open his eyes.

When he looked at Chester, he saw his colorless face and his eyes drifting away as if he was thinking of his worst fear. Mike wondered if he knew who he was talking about, what if Ryan had hurt Chester in the past? I swear if he did something to Ches I'll- No, what am I thinking? I have nothing to do with this. Talinda told me not to get close to the patients!

Chester started to sweat as his throat seemed to close on itself and he started to breathe deeply.

Mark. Surely that son of a bitch needed to take meds. What if he wasn't at the institution anymore, what if he was living close to Chester, and then-

The room started to blur and spin as dizziness took over the blonde man, and he felt his eyes rolled in the back of his head as his body started to lean on the side. Mike was quick to realize something was wrong as he rushed to the other man's side and caught him before he collapsed to the ground.
