Chester bit his lower lip as he watched Mike get ready. The half Asian needed to get a new job, and he had asked his boyfriend if he wanted to come with him. For some time now, they had mostly spent their time together at Mike's home, since it was larger than Chester's. It wasn't like the blonde man really needed to be in his apartment to translate his work, and Mike had helped him to transport most of the books he was using.

"You know," said the half Asian after he had finished placing his hair (he hadn't spiked it up this time since he was going to find a job), "I'm pretty confident about today. I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lend a job."

Chester smiled at him before he got up from the bed and walked toward him. "I'm sure you will."

"I'm gonna be lucky because of you." He replied, before he wrapped his arms around the young man's waist, lacing his hands on Chester's lower back, before he leaned in to kiss him tenderly.

They had spend so much time together recently, but every time Mike kissed him, Chester's heart still skipped a beat. He was so much in love, he wouldn't have thought he would have felt this way one day.

"I have something for you." Mike said as he let him go, before he walked toward his nightstand. He took something out, hidden from Chester, before he walked back toward his boyfriend. "Give me your hand."

The blonde man did so immediately, and he felt something small and metallic being placed in his hand. When Mike moved his hand away, Chester frowned.

"I know we're pretty much all the time here anyway, but, I just thought it would be useful if you ever went to Ryan's place and felt like coming back here when I was working, instead of your place."

"Oh." That had happened once before, he had gone to his friend's, and then had came back to Mike's place without knowing he wasn't home. He had waited for him in the hallway, sitting in front of the door. Luckily, he had had a book on himself, but he still jumped in fear every time someone from the building went out of their apartments or the other way around. "Thank you, Mike. I do have a spare of my place if you want one."

Mike smiled at him. "Only if you want to give it to me. No pressure."

Chester nodded before he looked back at the small key, a smile finally appearing on his face. It was one more step in their relationship.

"I'm ready to leave, are you?" Mike asked, looking at himself one more time in the mirror and nodding at his looks.

"Yeah, I'm ready." Chester smiled encouragingly at his boyfriend. It was his turn to be supportive now. He felt like he owed that to Mike, since he had always protected and supported him. "You look great, let's go." He pulled the half Asian's hand and fixed his shirt's collar before kissing his cheek and turning to the door.

"I just hope the helmet won't ruin my hair." Mike mumbled a little nervous.

"I'll fix it for you if anything, don't worry. C'mon." Chester winked and pulled Mike's hand, guiding him to the elevator after they had locked the door. "Do you already have a place you wanna apply to?"

"There's an art supply store nearby. They opened not too long ago and probably need some staff and since art is something I really enjoy, I might as well like working there. Being surrounded by art stuff seems good to me." Mike explained with a chuckle as they exited the elevator and headed to his motorbike.

"I hope you'll get the job! I'm sure you will, to be honest. You're great with art." Chester nodded excitedly as he grabbed one helmet and felt Mike's lips on his before he could put it on.

They left without another word, the blonde man silently enjoying the breeze and his lover's warmth as he hugged him from behind while the half Asian felt anxiety making its way within him as they neared the store.
When they came to a stop, Chester hopped off the motorcycle, but Mike didn't. The blonde sighed and placed his helmet down before he took Mike's off and held his face, looking at him straight into his eyes.
