"I'm here," I heard Byron's voice.

"Daddy's here," I smiled to Ellise.

She giggled as I picked her up. I walked out to the living area. I heard Byron's laugh as I walked in to see him standing with Joe and Emily. I froze, not expecting Emily to be here. She was still supposed to be in the states. I watched as she turned, her black hair falling over her shoulder. He eyes landed on me and she smiled.

"There she is, little Ellise." She said.

"I didn't know you were back." I said.

"I got back last night." Emily smiled.

"That's good," I nodded.

"I'm just going to grab her diaper bag." Byron said.

"I'll do it," I said and handed Ellise over.

"I'll help," Joe stated and followed me.

We went into her room and he pushed the door shut.

"You cannot tell Emily about that Sarah chick." Joe said.

"I wasn't planning on it." I told him, grabbing the diaper bag.

"You had that look in your eye."

"If I tell Emily about Sarah, he'd tell Daniel about Conor. I'm not trying to break his heart even more than I have."

"Have you guys announced the break up?"

"We decided not to." I said. "It'll be a clean break up."

"When did you guys talk?"

"Last night after I put Ellise to bed," I replied and shoved some clothes inside the bag.

"Well that's good then." He said.

"Conor proposed to me." I said and looked at him.

"What?" He laughed.

"The other night, he was over and he proposed."

"What did you say?"

"He told me I had until midnight at the Vamps album release party." I told him.

"What are you going to say?"

"I still have two months to get Byron back." I said.

He cracked a smile, "you finally admitted it."

"I love him," I told Joe. "I always have and I always will."

"Told you," He said.

I narrowed my eyes and pushed him slightly.

"What's the plan?" He asked.

"I don't have one yet." I shook my head.

"We need Emily out of the picture first." He said.

"You have to work on that by yourself." I told him. "I'm not fucking with it."

"You've got it," He smiled with a nod.

"Stop moving Conor," I laughed as I was stood on the couch, fixing the wig on his head. "Why is your head so big?"

"It's full of stupid thoughts." Anna laughed as the door flew open.

I laughed as I moved my leg slightly, losing my balance. I fell towards Conor as he caught me.

"What's happening here?" Byron asked as Conor's hands were fixed on my hips.

"My baby," I smiled and pulled away from Conor. I grabbed Ellise from Byron and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"We're filming a video, we could use your help." Joe said.

"Actually, I was going to surprise Emily with dinner."

"Please mate, Lex is going to get distracted."

"Fine, I guess for a little while." He said and pulled his jacket off.

I looked over at Joe and smiled has he sent a small wink. I stood back and Byron grabbed the camera. Joe started to explain what he was going to happen as I watched. Byron pushed his glasses further up his head as my heart fluttered. I hated that I dragged that man through hell and back but I loved him. This time I wasn't going to step back. This past year being without him, but around him was hard. The way he acted friendly, kissing my cheek every so often. The way he was such a good father, doing everything for the baby we shared. I just loved him even more than I did before.

"Lex," I heard.

I shook away my thoughts and saw Anna standing next to me.

"You're drooling," She laughed at a whisper.

"Yeah, no, of course mom," I said and stepped on to the balcony. I looked over, seeing Byron with a cigarette in his mouth. "I'll meet you at the hotel tomorrow for breakfast."

"Bye honey," She said.

I hung up as Byron looked at me.

"You're smoking again?" I asked.

"Looks like it," He shrugged.

"You did this every time we broke up." I said.

He smiled, "I guess so."

I took a step towards him and grabbed it from his hand. I dropped it on the ground, putting it out with the bottom of my vans. I looked into his eyes as he looked into mine.

"I'm sorry Byron," I said.

"Why?"

"I love you." I said.

He let out a laugh, "you love to break my heart Al."

"Byron," I said.

"You cheat on Emily." I said. "I cheated on Daniel. We never did that when we were with each other."

"You're still cheating on Daniel." He said. "I saw you and Conor being flirty."

"I'm not with Daniel anymore." I said.

"What?"

"I told you I was breaking up with him and I did." I said. "We weren't good together, not like us Byron."

"Just because you broke up with your boyfriend doesn't mean I'm breaking up with Emily. I'm tired of this continuous loop we're in." He said. "I'm done Alexis, so I'm sorry but I don't love you anymore."

He shook his head and walked through my room, out the other door. I let out a sigh. What he'd said had hurt but I knew it was a lie.
