Later that night, everyone was over. They all sat around in the living area, conversing about what had happened. I was stood on the balcony outside my room, staring out. I had called my mom and dad, telling them. Joe had called Zoe and Alfie, who were planning to head up tomorrow.
"Hey," I heard behind me.
I turned and saw Emily.
"Hey," I smiled as she walked over. "What's up?"
"Look, I know Byron is the father of your child but he's in a relationship." She said. "I'm not trying to cross a line but you need to take a step back. He's always so focused on the fact that you guys are okay. I want him to be focused on me sometimes."
"What?" I let out a chuckle.
"He doesn't love you anymore, he's with me and you need to accept that."
"Who the hell do you think you are?" I asked. "You cannot tell me to back off Byron. We are friends and we share a kid."
"Exactly, you're only friends and sure you guys share a kid." She shrugged. "That just makes you a whore since you aren't married."
"What did you just say?" I heard from behind Emily. She turned in a swift motioned revealing Byron standing in the doorway to my room.
"Byron," She exhaled.
"I'll give you guys a moment." I said and tried to walk around Byron.
"You need to leave." He said to Emily.
"Can we please talk about this?" She asked.
"Tonight," He said. "You can go to my flat but you need to leave."
Emily looked over at me, sending a slight glare. She pushed past Byron and disappeared inside. I looked over to Byron but his eyes were already on me.
"I'm sorry," I said.
"Why are you apologizing? She disrespected you."
"I'm still sorry." I smiled softly and tried to walk past him again.
This time he slipped his hand into mine.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, basically at a whisper considering his face was right next to mine.
"I'm perfect," I smiled and looked into his eyes.
He leaned in as I moved my face. His lips landed on my cheek.
"You still have Emily to deal with." I said. "You need to deal with her before this."

Later that night I was lying in bed, Ellise was cuddled up next to me on my bed, asleep. I ran my fingers through her hair as the room sat quiet. She was so peaceful and cute, it made my heart flutter at the fact that she was actually mine.
My bedroom door opened and I saw Byron walk in.
"Hey," I said softly.
"I just wanted to tell you that I'm headed back to mine." He replied.
"Alright," I nodded.
He walked over and kissed El's head before smiling at me. He pushed hair behind my ear before placing a kiss on my head as well.
"I'll see you guys later." He said.
"Be safe," I told him as he walked out.
"Bye," Joe told him as he walked in.
"Hey," I said.
"Someone is on the phone for you." Joe said and handed me my cell.
I grabbed it and placed it to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Alexis," I heard Kylie's voice. She sounded like she'd been crying and was out of breath.
"Kylie?" I asked.
"I'm sorry." She cried. "Can you please come and see me?"
"I don't know Kylie..." I trailed.
"I really want to see you, please, just before I meet with my lawyer." She begged. "I want to see Cole and Tyler too."
"Why?"
"I want to see my son, I wanted to talk to you and Tyler." She said.
"I can see what I can do." I told her.
"My lawyer comes at noon tomorrow, please be here before." She said before I heard a click.
I looked down at my phone before glancing up at Joe.
"What did she want?"
"She wants to see Tyler, Cole and I."
"Why?"
"She didn't say." I shook my head.
"Are you going to?"
"I feel like I shouldn't but I kind of want to." I nodded.
"I'm getting bad vibes Lex."
"So am I."
It was quiet for a minute before he sighed.
"Byron told me what Emily said."
"Okay?"
"I think he's going to break it off."
"I don't think so, he was pretty angry but I know him. If he was going to break it off, he'd have told her to leave forever."
"Have faith Lex, get some sleep." He said before leaving the room.
I look down at Ellise, "I know your daddy better than anyone."
