It is late in the evening. The sun is ready to sleep for the rest of the night. The sky is a canvas beautifully spilled with different colours. Birds are singing an untold ballad. The clouds are telling their own stories. In this mesmerizing moment, there is a soul ignorant of all this. Lost in his own thoughts, Bek is sitting on a bench in his college campus.

He has a tall and muscular figure. His eyes is the colour of ocean and is as deep as  the ocean itself. The two ocean blue orbs are enough to hypnotize anyone. His blond hair is on his fair forehead trying to reach his eyes, teasing him. His lips looks like a perfectly carved wax sculpture. He's looking absolutely stunning in his red t-shirt, leather jacket, denim and adidas. He has just attended the class and decides to rest for a while before returning home. This bench, this spot holds a very strong memory of him and his love.

"Ashley, I'm sorry. Just listen to me for a second."
Said Bek chasing after a girl as she were stepping as fast as she could in those high heels. She lost balance and got hurt as the heels of her sandal broke.

"Aahh..." She screamed out of agony.

"Ash, how many times should I have to tell you to be careful... And you don't even need these heels. Why do you even wear them," said Bek holding her as he took her weight on him. He took her to the nearest bench and made her sit.

"To match your height stupid", said Ashley.

This was the time when he noticed those large grey eyes were moist.

"Does it hurts that much?" Asked Bek, kneeling down and removing her footwear.

"Not as much as you hurt me", Ashley said angrily, wiping her tears.

Ashley had a slender figure. Her perfect brown skin made her look like a doll. Everything about her was so perfect that she looked like a piece of art. Her wavy hair was as dark as the night and as shiny as a pearl. Her nose was sharp. And her lips with pink liptint were looking like rose petals. Her face had a charm that no eyes can ever resist itself being caught by it. She was wearing a white lace top and a skinny jeans.

Bek stood up and sat next to her.

"Ashley trust me, I swear I was just helping her with maths."

"Why? Who is she to you? Why were you sitting so close to her? You know I can never see you with someone else, right."

With this she broke into tears. Bek sighed and embraced Ashley in his arms.

"Ash, you know that I only love you. As far as my consciousness takes me, I know I've only loved you. You're the only one I've. You're everything I have."

Ashley now felt comfortable. Ofcourse she was in the safest place. His arms always felt like home to her.

"I'm sorry Bek but I can't help it. I'm always afraid that one day you'll leave me like my parents did. And then my grandma. I can't afford to lose you Bek. I'm sorry." Ashley said.

"Hey, listen sweetheart, I'm not leaving you, not in any case. Even if the sky falls I will be right by your side, holding your hand." She smiled.

"But what if I leave you?"

" I'll never let you go." He hugged her tightly.

A tear rolls down his cheek. Ashley was his first friend and his only love. At a very young age, he lost his parents in a car accident. He lives with his aunt.

Ashley was his neighbour. She had always been bold and she was his savior from the bullies when they were kids.

Both of them were very popular in school, having lots of friends but their places in each other's life could never be replaced.

Only in high school did Bek revealed his feelings to her, to which she replied, "wow, finally after waiting for so many years I got to hear those golden words." She told him in a teasing tone but her happiness was clearly visible on her face.

Ashley's parents always used to fight when she was a kid. They were so busy in blaming each other that they always ignored their little child. Her parents got divorced and Ashley's mother left her with her father.
After some years her father left her alone in the house and went somewhere later to be found that he married someone and was now living with her, abondaning his daughter.

Thankfully she had Bek, who never left her on her own in this period. After three days her grandma came to live with her. Her grandma loved her a lot. She finally had a family but after few years her grandma died of tumor. Standing near the grave of her she was again feeling all alone when she felt someone holding her hand. It was Bek.

Her grandma had transferred all her properties to Ashley so she never had any problem with livings. But with her grandma's death, a fear had found place in Ashley's mind that the only person close to her would also leave her someday. She always got so insecured when finding Bek talking to someone else or when she felt Bek was ignoring her. But Bek never got irritated. He always knew how to calm her. They were just perfect together and they were supposed to be together for rest of their lives.
