Tears

I'm sinking below the reef
I'm sinking in the salty blue water
and my eyes are getting hotter
With my raw red hand,
I already spot her,
But I'm too far away,
er er er.
My head hurts, hurts, hurts.

Ten seconds left,
and my bones are all stressed.
Swimming slower,
in this shredded blue mess,
I bring my knees to my face.
It's over.
She's gone.
And it's all my fault.

I said goodbye too early
with my hair too curly
with my mind too blurry
with my heart filled with too much worry.
Not for me, though,
but for you.

I left because I had hurt you,
but I warned you that it was true,
that I'm nothing,
but a knife that will end a heart's life.

But now I can't be repaired.
I'm currently through the view of the darkness.
Again, I feel bared.

Every part of my body aches;
my body has been bitten by too many snakes.
And now I feel the bitter rain,
cascading down my cheeks with pain.
I can't seem to get any help,
because you were always there when I had to yelp.

I miss you because now I have no one by my side,
and everyone thinks I'm the one that lied.
But I'm tied down to this world,
in a pit, in a cage, in the dark,
with no hand to hold.
