One night you banged on my door.
"You either get out of your room right now OR I'm going to drag you out myself! I need to know the next part of your story! If you aren't going to tell me what's wrong with you, fine! But you are not going to keep me hanging!" You bellowed outside my door.
I went quiet for a while in my life, spoke only if necessary. You were the noise in my life.
"Alright, alright, I'm coming."
I remember the smile on your face that evening. You made me my favorite dish, "Only because you finally spoke," was what you said.
"I missed talking." I whispered.
"I missed hearing you speak." You answered.
